I really wish there were lower ratings available; as in: Dont waste your time or money here. First bad mark right off the bat: The name of the company is "Jewelry Exchange" which directly implies that you can EXCHANGE your jewelry, or at the bare minimum get an appraisal. I had a few items that I wanted to know the value of, use their stones in different settings - NOPE, right at the front door they will tell you they do not give appraisals. My fiancee and I decided to look around for a particular style we like. We walk up to one of the main counters and are looking at white gold rings and settings. A rep walks up to us on the other side of the counter with a large friendly smile: "Are you two being helped?" Us: "Not yet." The salesperson says "Okay", turns right around and walks away. A look of sheer befuddlement on our faces. "This is customer service?" We decide to power through. We continue around the rest of the displays, each time when we see a salesperson we ask "May we have some assistance?" They respond "Someone will be right with you." 30 minutes. T-H-I-R-T-Y M-I-N-I-T-U-E-S we roamed the store without help from someone. And when we had seen about as much as we could, we decided to leave. Upon our exit the greeter didnt so much as ask if we found what we were looking for. Oh well, I guess our money was no good there. Ill spend the extra few dollars in gas and drive to an independent jeweler. I advise you do the same - find one with a real good reputation and higher yelp or Google+ review. Just dont waste your money here. They spend quite a bit on advertising and offer so little in the way of services or customer service.

I had the best experience at the Jewelry Exchange in Tustin. After having several not so great experiences with with jewelers my fiance and were desperate to remedy the situation with a terribly constructed engagement ring. The style of the ring I had wasnt exactly what I wanted, but it was all we could afford at the time. The day prior to going to the jewelry exchange a jeweler, criticized my current ring (which of course made me and my fiance feel awful about it) then they hard sold me to put my existing diamond in a solitaire ring. I really didnt want a solitaire and I expressed that, then they said that was my only option until I could afford to put some real money into something nice. Ouch. The next day I went on the Jewelry exchange website and looked at some options. I decided to go down there in person and see what we could do. From the minute we walked in the store we felt welcome. Our salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable. She eagerly worked with our budget and save us several options beyond the boring solitaire. I walked out of there feeling very happy and extremely satisfied. She was pleasant and very honest with us. When she showed us things that were outside of our budget, she apologized, and immediately showed us gorgeous options that were in budget. She worked hard, and made sure we were happy with our selection. It was a great experience, and when its time to upgrade my ring when, Ill be bee-lining it to the Jewelry Exchange. Awesome customer service, and gorgeous inventory.

The Jewelry Exchange is a jewelry store that is very unique. While some jewelry stores concentrate on a particular niche, such as high end (expensive) jewelry (i.e. Tiffanys) or just engagement rings only (Robbins Brothers), The Jewelry Exchange concentrates on having a wide assortment of jewelry, with an emphasis on affordable diamonds. They excel at having a diamond for the budget of any customer, large or small. The absolute best flawless, white diamonds for the customer that has $25,0000 to spend on a 1 carat or larger, or a diamond that may not be so flawless, for a customer that wants to present his fiancee with that 1 carat diamond, but only has one or two thousand to spend. Or how about something less than 1 carat that has superior cut & clarity, and a superior price? I could go on & one about the value options. Above & beyond making a diamond affordable for anyone, they have a wide array of other jewelry, such as diamond earrings, tennis bracelets, pendants, gemstone jewelry, and so much more. Great for engagements, and gifts for all occasions you can think of, The Jewelry Exchange has it all. And because they import their diamonds direct, have their own diamond cutting facilities, and then builds the jewelry themselves (and right in front of you I might add) they are able to offer a piece of jewelry for about half of the price for a similar piece at a competing jewelry store. They are passionate about value!!

My husband and I have been loyal customers at Tustin Jewlery Exchange for 7 years now. My husband bought my original wedding ring set here and we upgraded the diamond a few years ago. The trade in value is 80% guarenteed and this guarentee keeps us coming back for each upgrade. Each visit we are greeted with smiles upon entry and the consultants we have worked with are very knowledgeable. The last diamond we purchased was not perfect and that was explained/showed to us up front. Yesterday was an awesome trip yet again as Aaron helped jaz up a classy 2 tone ring with a suggested yellowish brown diamond with a blissful polish. He was not pushy; he was honest and showed us the different options which really helped solidify our decision. It helps to do ones homework and review rings online so you are prepared to see that ring in store. One tip is to remember to bring your receipt from your last purchase too to help verify the trade in value. Lastly, they have a finance program that one can make monthly payments on a purchase upon a great credit check; even better than layaway! Thank you Aaron for your genuine customer service and thank you Tustin Jewlery Exchange for your faithful delivery.

I went in thinking I was just going to get an idea, on prices for an engagement ring. I walked in ...and was greeted buy a gentleman who asked if I needed help, and he gave me a numbered ticket. It was crowded...(Saturday, first of the month)...so this gave me time to look around myself. When my number was called, I was directed to Helen, I told her what I was looking for and she asked me for my budget. I also told her I would like a Lay Away plan and they have one.. She proceeded to show me rings within my budget. I picked out the ring and the stone, made a deposit and was done!...the entire process took 30 minutes!.. It turned out to be Painless... Helen was pleasant and Patient, (I was a little indecisive) and I will Love to Deal with her and the Jewelry Exchange again. Oh and by the way...Ive seen other reviews stating that The Jewelry Exchange is racist...and that they dont want to help people with Low Budgets.... Well Im Black (African American) and my Budget is pretty Low...I mean LOW.... But Helen and The Jewelry Exchange never made me feel like my business was unwanted and they worked with me and my budget...

This place may seem great and a deal... But first time buyers be aware. I just got engaged and my fiance bought me a gorgeous designer ring but it was too expensive for my taste since I never wear any jewelry. I came in and a lady kept telling me over and over again she could get me a great deal and that I should return my original ring. When she finally realized I had no idea about jewelry let alone what I wanted, she passed me off to another sales person. After a few questions to know me, she showed me one diamond and two band settings within my price range. This narrowed my search in a sea of stuff so I bought something that was in front of me. When I picked up the ring, I went directly to my friend in the fashion world to show it off. The first thing she said was " what is that?" She pointed out a huge flaw in the middle of the diamond and my heart sank. I never would have bought the diamond if I was educated on this process or if she pointed out the flaw. Now I hate my ring and am out $150 on labor. Buyers go somewhere they will take the time to educate you and be honest....because this place doesnt!
