The Oaks is a big, sprawling modern upscale shopping center. When we were considering moving "all the way out to Thousand Oaks" from L.A., The Oaks mall is one of the reason that it seemed ok. It has most of what you expect but not much real personality. The food court on the west side has about a dozen well known fast food places all serving what you expect. But no original mom and pop store. There is always a seat but usually surrounded by screaming children with their weekend dads or over stressed moms. The stores are all there. But nothing new. Nothing that isnt in every other mall. Except the little book shop hidden on the East side near the theater. There is an Apple store, thank goodness. Someone needs to figure out how to give this place some personality. How many Gap Stores and Starbucks can we take?

Very pleasant shopping center that looks very modern and presentable filled with all the recognizable brands, stores and companies that you can expect to find at a good quality shopping center as this location is. There is a lot of parking outside and inside the parking structure. a very big food court area as well as several casual restaurants on the outside. You can find several areas along the inside and outside of the mall where you can sit and rest and connect to the free WiFi that is available throughout the complex very nice location, very well kept and good looking place and very relaxing experience

Easy parking. Never crowded. Nice selection of "chain" dining options including Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, Lazy Dog, Subway, Cinnabon, Menchies and Red Robin. Good kids play area. (Very small food court, though). Very nice Macys and Nordstroms as well as the usual mall suspects: Forever 21, Hot Topic , Box Lunch (new), Zara, Sees, Godiva, Mrs. Fields, Claires, Lush, Urban, Build-a-Bear, etc. BONUS: includes a fine independent bookstore, and a farmers market (on Thursday afternoon!) Nice place to stroll and beat the heat - even if you are only window shopping.

This mall used to be amazing but in recent years it has lost most if not all of its charm. The stores used to be varied and have a personal feeling to each one now its a bunch of cookie cutter clothing stores and generic eateries. The Movie theatre is nice but not enough to lure me to the mall for anything but going to see a Movie. We used to have an arcade as well. The mall caters to no one these days but teenage girls and middle age women.

The parking is okay. That is you can always fins a spot but it might not be very close to where you want to go. The stores are good but not stellar. Staff is helpful and friendly but lack the understanding of what world class service is. Some of the Nordstrom team do but not all. This is a good mall with a provincial attitude which is good enough for the area but if you want top shelf retail experience head downtown.

Great place, fun things to do even if you dont go to any of the stores. In the promenade area there is a huge human sized chess and checkers set that you are actually able to play. The restrooms are modern and the entire mall is extremely clean and well maintained. However, the staff that is available of assistance seems to be a total of one, which was not helpful when my wallet was stolen in this area.

Indoor playground is disgusting and spreads illness. Not cleaned nor supervised by mall staff. Our girls have become sick often after we go there. Big kids (who are clearly not supposed to be in this playground) run roughshod over the toddlers and smaller ones. IMO, the play equipment needs to be disinfected every 2-3 hours to be safe (not done AFAIK). Beware contagion and "bodyguard" your small kids.

A beautiful mall but mens room shows something is clearly wrong. Broken stall lock for months. No TP in stalls. Grafitti on toilet seat. Broken paper towel dispenser . Regularly overflowing trash cans. Something has happened, change of ownership or management, or worse. Very sad. Almost forgot, pushy sales people at the kiosks, they shouldnt acost passers-by.

The mall has a good range of stores. And the people who work there and shop there are well-dressed and courteous. However, it is small in comparison to Aventura Mall, Sawgrass Mills Mall, and other malls in Florida or the Victoria Gardens Mall in California. Still, I enjoy visiting it because it is close to home and has nearly all of the shops that I love.

Pick a store, any store... here you will find anything and everything you have ever dreamed of. The mall is Forever long, has inside and outside, one of the best food courts, movie theatre, CHEESECAKE FACTORY! Ok that tops all the rest. GO TO CHEESECAKE FACTORY IMMEDIATELY IF YOU ARE READING THIS! MUST HAVE CHEESECAKE IN UNLIMITED VARIETIES!

Heel mooie mall met veel bekende merken. Wel de duurdere merken. Met foodcorners, bioscopen en diverse restaurants. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid, groots opgezet.

I grew up going to this mall as a kid from Agoura Hills. In fact, I remember when it was built! You wouldnt recognize it today, but that isnt a bad thing. Its just been renovated so many times. Its top notch. All the stores you would expect in a mall, with some nice restaurants and a beautiful movie theater thrown in.

Out of what most malls look like, this one is clearly a winner. Nice food court, lots of stores, and a connected Muvico, and an outdoor area with a fire pit!? Very well made, always clean, wonderful. Only been talk to with friends for running around the place and being troublesome. Fantastic for the weekends.

Has most of what you need. More than one of those stores where the employees stand outside and try to push samples at you. Smaller Nordstrom, good food court, definitely will go home with strep throat if you let your kids play at the playground. The new outdoor area is nice.

I like the Oaks Mall. Unlike the Simi Valley Town Center, the Oaks mall has managed to stay relevant and full of interesting shops. I did not dig the food court, however the area by the Movie theater has a lot of good food options, like Chipotle, Pizza Rev, and Urban Plates.

Indoor playground is disgusting and spreads illness. Not cleaned nor supervised by mall staff. Family has been sick every time after we go there. The equipment needs to be disinfected every 2-3 hours to be safe (not done AFAIK). Beware contagion as this is a health risk.

One of the nicer malls Ive been to. Theyve really fleshed out the place over the years and now it almost has everything youd want out of a mall. Its lacking if youre looking for non-Apple-related electronics, I would recommend a nearby department store for that.

It is a great mall with a large variety of stores, but unfortunately my bike was stolen in the parking lot (it was parked there with an locker)... Besides that I have no complaints about the mall. The TV show "Modern Family" has some scenes filmed there.

Kind of a great place to hang out. Get some espresso, Sees candy, great shops. Places to sit. Indoor place to walk & get exercise in inclement weather. Get out of the house & be with people. Close to Muvico with some good, new places to eat nearby.

Great mall, I havent visited the area in years. Great shopping at Macys home store, Anthropology, LOccitane and others. What a great day! They also have an outside mall as well that was so nice but I didnt get to walk it all. No time. Will be back.
