I came in on 3/21, my birthday.I was back in town for professional reasons and to visit friends /family. If i could give zero stars, i would. Ive received kind service at other stores. Last year, I was able to take advantage of receiving a bday gift on my birthday! As I understand Avedas company promotional info, clients can receive a free birthday gift every year once w/ email participation, which I did. We received exemplary service at locations in San Francisco. This day, I chose to go to Westfield Malls location ( 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd) to start my bday adventure. It was the first thing I did that day & it was SO unsatisfactory. I arrived w/ mom & sister, happy, walked up to the counter w/ a big smile & shared proudly that Im visiting today for my bday gift. The girl at the counter [(blonde, shorter than 54"; did not catch her name (too upset)] gave a brief hello, promptly asked for a card-coupon for this free gift to redeem my bday treat. I explained I did not have this. She muttered something, then tried something on her computer, walked to the back w/o much explanation, came back a cpl of mins later stating she could Not help me as I didnt have that card. I explained to this unwelcoming employee I didnt receive this mystical card, that I live in NorCal now, & that I traveled to LA 5 days ago for a multi-day professional conference. As I continued explaining that IF this mysterious card was sent to my home in Mill Valley at any point after 3/14, I would neither receive nor have a way of retrieving it..bc Im IN L.A. standing in front of her, & then come back with it to her. I couldnt even get all of that info out as she cut me off mid-sentence, repeated she simply couldnt help me w/o this card, that "it" or "they" will "physically not all allow" her to do anything for me w/o that mysterious card that is apparently so important. I did not have nor need such a card last year when my sisters & I visited the store in SF. Her tone of voice was not rude & neither were her gestures, but they werent understanding or friendly either. This was truly no way to greet nor handle an unsuspecting repeat client...on her BIRTHDAY. This unempathetic employee was so abrupt and unaccommodating that I did not know what else to say at that time, muttered thanks and just walked out feeling deflated and saddened. On my birthday. This was the beginning to my birthday outing today, which was an unnecessarily huge disappointment and, frankly, made me sad and upset. She didnt even wish me a happy birthday, which may seem trivial, but its really not. It is one thing every company can do to make their clients and customers feel special for just a moment. Especially, a company that deals with health and beauty, which is built on their clients feeling radiant and special in every way. And, its a cost-free thing to do for a company. It is a very normal social expectation, is it not? A young child has the sense that saying "happy birthday" is the appropriate response when someone shares it is their birthday, do they not? That is really not the way to treat a client, and really makes me think twice about purchasing any of your products in the future. Obviously, there are a myriad of skincare products on the market, so purchasing anything from your company is a conscious choice. Additionally, word-of-mouth plays an important role. When I recommend a store or product to friends or family, I base that on how much I like the product and how kindly I was treated. I imagine most everyone would make recommendations based on those criteria. After today, I learned I really dont feel very motivated to return to Aveda. Since this store is apparently privately owned, corporate could not help me so this remains unresolved and here we are. For the record, upon returning home, no Birthday Coupon Gift postcard was ever mailed to me. One very disheartened & disappointed client, Aida

In diesem Einkaufszentrum findet man alles, was man braucht.

The ambience of the mall was beautiful. The first place we went to was, Macys. My husband wanted to purchase a Diesel watch. There were two ladies at the counter one was helping a customer . The other lady approached us didnt greet just stared at us and blatantly ignored a question we had. We just walked around to see if we could find someone else that was willing to assist but no luck. We just decided to wait until we got back to, Atlanta. Walking back towards the trolley pickup we decided to stop at a kiosk to have shirts made. The gentlemen took over 40 minutes to make the shirts. Which looked nothing like the advertisements on his kiosk. We were denied a refund until after we advised him we would just call the bank and place a stop payment. Although we didnt get the full refund we was given majority of it. We were just ready to go. Clearly we needed a drink so we stopped at California Pizza and Amber had the best customer service skills ever. My goodness if only that was the standard in the entire mall but no bodys perfect. Hopefully those two bad apples will be retrained on the importance of customer service/ satisfaction. Nathaniel from the village offered better service if we returned so we il see.

Growing up in the valley Topanga Plaza was my mall and wow has it changed (for the better) it has practically every store you could ever want ... About 10 years ago they literally doubled the size of the mall ... 3 corridors separate the old from the new so now the mall has the old section , the new section and in the very middle of the old section is what I like to call the high rent district with Tiffanys, Cartier, Ben Bridge, Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo ... interesting that they all choose that location (being the older section) to make it home VS. the newly built ... While other stores like Nordstrom , Gap & CPK choose to relocate into the newer area while Pandora jewelry choose to move from the new section to upstairs high rent above Louis Vuitton and across from there owner Ben Bridge. Also interesting is the store Love Culture (above Tiffany) which stands in the old Forever 21 location (same type) I say interesting as they closed the store and a couple of weeks later it was back ... this mall is my home away from home (as its only 1 mile away from my condo) ... Oh and the 2 story Target is great (even though within 3 miles we have 2 other Target stores ... everything u want in a one stop shop :)

I would give them a zero but thats not possible on this. Vanessa, the mall manager and her goons are monsters. We had a business opened in their mall for along time, little by little they took things away that we couldnt do. Finally we where making no money, we decided to close, as we are trying to close on a super slow day during the day Vanessa said we had no right to close during mall hours and that our employe that was already working about 11 hours a day had to work over time. In all this mall is unprofessional, not well kept, and most importantly not made for businesses to make money. This place will hold you to a lease and if your not making money they will charge u more money to leave. This is by far the most unprofessional and unreasonable mall in California, and I do mean California. Our stores have opened all over but because of one crazy management team our store closed. Plus the security guards are amazing but the management staff that runs them is not the brightest tool either. If you are thinking this is a great place for a business you are wrong look somewhere else.
