Since my son was very little we have been going to the Calabasas commons. He is now three years old and its a nice place to go to get out of the house for an afternoon that is not a full day commitment like a zoo or when youre tired of going to the park every day. While there are plenty of stores and Im sure everyones experience is different… We have a routine. We start by going to Barnes and Noble where we first visit the kids room. Then hell look at the toys section… And we and by getting a treat in the café. Next, we visit the little pond where they have tons of turtles! Literally Ive counted over 100 turtles! There are also big beautiful fish, and a bunch of water fountains which is my sons favorite thing! We spent some time looking at the turtles, and then its up to the Calabasas Library that is right up the path! We visit the kids room there and check out some books. There are you going to water fountains at the library! Thats a typical visit for us! Sometimes instead of Barnes & Noble well go to Menchis. I enjoyed the five at the Calabasas commons. They always play vintage Frank Sinatra style music which is pretty cool. This isnt Disneyland, but its a place that has been bringing me back for years, so I think that alone is deserving of five stars. Enjoy! If you want to make more of a day of it, start by checking out the Leonis adobe not far away.

I will always love this place as its in my home town of Calabasas on Calabasas road (where I still work up the street). When I graduated from Calabasas High School in 1998 the commons was just beginning to lay down its foundation and they opened late 1998 or early 1999. While some stores have turned over a couple times the greats still remain like the Barnes and Noble bookstore (my first and only other job) the Edwards movie theater, Johnny Rockets, Ralphs, Rite-Aid, Kings Fish house, Marmalade Cafe, Corner Bakery, Corner Bakery , William and Sonoma and the same once featured in a episode of Monk Polaceks Jeweler still below the the clock tower in the middle ... and while its once gold peaks are now green and hidden under layers of grime its nice to be able to rely on somethings that dont change ... so dont believe all that hype about how TMZ is always here following a Kardashian or Adam Levine or Jessica Simpson thats all fake and I have never seen them their like ever so if you r thinking oh I will come to Calabasas and meet the Kardashians or if u know that Dash is gone were they ever real or whatever I can tell you while they might be fake Calabasas isnt and we are still here. Looking the same mostly (at least post Commons in 1999) :)

I have been coming to the Commons since it first opened. It was, in my eyes, the first community center in the area. A safe, clean and beautiful gathering place. The owner/ operator Caruso also owns/manages the Grove and the Americana. The site is always clean and there is always a security guard visible onsite walking around. Parking is ample most times of the day, though a bit of walking may be required. It has a great selection of restaurants and stores, however both can be on the pricey side. There is also a Ralphs market and CVS for daily needs. All told, it is a great place to walk around, meet with friends and family, or take a date.

Saturday in Calabash, CA 91302 means fresh produce and unique vendors at the Ferry Building. All around the exterior you will find stands selling foods fresh from the farm or straight from the bakery.I enjoyed sampling a lot of the goods that they had at each stall and wish that I lived in this city so I could come here to get my produce. There was not one person that I interacted with who gave bad service, so this is a great place to come and spend an hour or so hopping from tent to tent.

Place is really beautiful and have great fun things to do. But I just did not appreciate how over populated it got with teens that dont have their parents with them and cause trouble. My friend an I were sitting at Johnny Rockets eating our lunch. These kids start throwing pieces of bread at us. Honestly what are you going to say to a kid like that? The security guard that was walking around did not say or do anything to those boys.

Me gusta para pasear y ver tiendas al aire libre. Supermercado, Cinema, restaurantes, diversos locales con opciones para tomar cafe y heladerías. Amplio estacionamiento. Siempre consigo estacionarme con facilidad

Beautiful Tuscan styled outdoor center with 8 restaurants, including Toscanova with happy hour everyday at the 2 indoor marble bars and the outdoor fire pit, a Pain le Quotian, 2 Starbucks, a movie theater, and shopping including Ralphs and CVS. Located halfway (by driving time not miles) between LA and Santa Barbara. Perfect place to pull off the road for a few hours when the 101 freeway slows to a stop.

This is a very nice place to spend time for people of all ages - things to do for all. I love Commons after dark - gorgeous place, nice happy people around. Check out Barnes and Noble with free wifi, good coffee and great choice of books. The movie theater is great as well and not too crowded. Great shopping, very good food, I am sure you will have a great time here.

Always very clean, attractive and safe. Kings Fish House is one of my favorite sea food places. Very happy that there is still a Barnes & Noble book store with a great selection. Enjoy the background music, watching the turtles and koi fish. The Edwards theater has been remodeled and the seating is very comfortable. Great selection of stores with friendly staff.

Theres a couple of useful stores/eateries here, but theyre connected by overpriced pretentious boutiques and I can only take so much of the music. You cant get away from it. Its everywhere. Parking lot, walkways, restrooms. You cant even step outside a restaurant to take a call because... Theres that music just loud enough to annoy.

They have an excellent array of places to eat and shop along with a great movie theatre. A little more high end of a place to shop, but well worth it. Its a beautiful shopping center. Parking can be a tad of a pain, but there is always parking if you dont mind a slight walk.

Didnt get to explore everything but really was a nice, fancy place to us visiting the area. We liked the turtle pond, the fish pond, and the overall beautiful sculptures and landscaping. Was a bit of free entertainment for our toddlers in our large group! :)

The Commons is a great place to bring the kids and take a moment to look at the turtles basking in the sun. I love the cafés and the variety of shops. It is so clean and beautiful there, its nice to have such a wonderful experience while shopping.
