I used to get all my automotive parts & accesories at Auto Zone because I always thought théy were closer & more convieniante to me. So Ive been putting a lot of money into my truck lately trying to figure out why it keeps dyeing out, with a lot of help from You Tube & to no avail. So I decided to take the plunge & replace the fuel pump everyone even Auto Zone who will price match but you have to give them your first born & they also want you to bring them proof all wanted $285.00 plus tax. Well so happens Pep Boys happens to have my pump in stock but theres a problem they wanted $245.00 & I figured tax would be another $25.00 bringing the grand total to $270.00 still alot cheaper than anyone else. But heres the problem with all the money Ive been putting into my truck I only had a total of $250.00 to my name. So I proceeded to call Pep Boys again, getting myself ready to beg for my life if they could just over look the taxes for me. Little did I know that I had a guardian angel there at Pep Boys the mnger Jeff. I didnt even have to beg or anything he must of sensed it in my voice because just out of nowhere he told me it was my lucky day & that he was going to save me some money & boy did he. I ended up paying less than $200.00 & that was including tax. No first born or any other ridiculouse hurdles to jump just straight out great customer service & savings. I dont even care that Auto Zone is right around the corner from me. I am now a proud & loyal Pep Boys customer. So if you are ever in need of any auto parts just go see Jeff at the Charter Way Pep Boys in Stockton CA. Im sure he will be happy to give you the same great service he gave me, because he even looks like someone who loves his job & is proud of the work he has put in at the end of the day. Heres to you Jeff & all of the others who still believe the customer should always come first. Thank You.

I made an appointment the night before for a diagnosis. My car barely runs, so I had it towed 15 miles. When I showed up, they told me that their technician wasnt available for a week..... are you kidding me. They didnt bother calling me to tell me that the technician wasnt there???! Ridiculous. I had to call the same towing company just to take it back home. A waste of time, and Ill make sure none of my family or friends wastes their time at another Pep Boys again. You just lost a customer, and many more. Screw you and your crappy customer service.

No lo recomiendo yo lleve mi carro para que lo arreglará porque no aceleraba y le cambiaron un motón de cosas que me costo arriba de 2000 dolares y no lo arreglaron lo lleve al dealer y era la bomba de gasolina.a ellos no se les ocurrió chequear la precion de la gasolona y no los recomiendo

I will "never" use them again, I made an appointment for an oil change and I had to wait for two hours for them to get it done, this is insane. They told me that one of my brake lights wasnt working so I when inside to try to get a new one and there were 3 guys, one was on the counter and the other two were just walking around, the one in the counter was with another costumer so I wait for 20 MINUTES and nobody could even ask me or tell me anything. All of the are sucks. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH PEOPLE WHO DONT APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS

I hate pep boys they take too long. I waited 2 hours in the store and they havent started on my wheel alignment. Im watching the employees, and theyre playing games on their phones! In the end i wanted to leave. When i asked for my car they charged me 20 dollars! Wtf! They didnt even do anything. Never going back. Im better off doing it myself.

noise was coming from right front, took to pepboys, they said its "Tie rod". So they replaced it, did the alignment and guess what the noise is still there. I paid $400 ish to fix what? nothing??? problem has not been solved....im going back to tell them to fix it right or give my money back...this sucks!!!

Called about an oil change, after having to call back because a tech hung up on me instead of transferring me to the service department, I was told they had time and to come on over arrived 15 minutes later and was told they could not even start the oil change until 2 and a half hours later.

Everyday prices are ok and good when there are coupons available. Takes more time than guaranteed online. Customer service is not as great as its advertise.
