After hiking with companions at Muir Woods on Saturday, April 22, we decided to stop by a nearby Target for a stroll. From afar, this Target looks huge, but on the inside, its actually smaller than other Target stores that Ive been to. Nonetheless, it served its purpose since I was able to buy a journal and a bottle of pure aloe vera. My companions and I were here around noon on a Saturday and it wasnt as crowded, which was nice. My companions were fond of searching for the Nintendo Switch and were able to find 5 in stock at this Target, which is incredible because theyre sold out everywhere else. Everything was well-organized and clean. There is a unisex restroom with one toilet, so keep that in mind. A few registers were open. The entire building was air conditioned, so its a great location if you want to stay cool from the oncoming warm and hot summers. Target in Marin City is located within a shopping center, which means plenty of parking. If I were in the area again, I would definitely visit this Target again.

What a great addition to a shopping center that has been improved dramatically! The store is very organized and clean like most Targets. I actually liked the fact that this store is a bit smaller than most. I got around to what I needed very quickly and could see different sections of the store easily. Employees here are very friendly, checkout was quick, parking is convenient and close to the entrance, and you get the benefit of the fresh sea air and the view that only Sausalito can provide. There is also a Starbucks inside with a sitting area that allows you to look at the marsh area and across the water towards Tiburon. The shopping center has new pavement, signs, landscaping, towers - the entrances are even lined with palm trees! Looks so much nicer.

Target is a great addition to Marin City. At 48,000 square feet, it is less than half the size of most Target stores, yet it seems to have everything one would want. Unlike many Targets, this one has a large food section with prepared foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, prepackaged meat, snacks, drinks, and frozen food. Its quite extensive, occupying about 1/4 of the store. Checkout is easy with both manned checkout stations and many self-serve checkouts. If you use the selfserve checkouts, there is never a wait in line. There are two stores-within-the-store; a CVS pharmacy and a Starbucks.

Very limited water selection, maybe three brands and sizes. Trish Thompson, store team leader, disregarded a concern I expressed to here, refused to give me her name and business card and then proceeded to tell me to get out and never comeback to HER store. Quite shocking and I believe misaligned with the customer experience Im use to having. Then again my trips to Target are fewer and fewer...makes one think!

Jared was awesome , he went above and beyond to make sure I found like 50 items when shopping for my apartment and always dealt with me pricing matching some items to make sure I was walking out with a fair price. People like Jared are why physical stores are still around even with someone like me with Amazon prime , its worth the drive out here from San Francisco again just to get the great customer

Diet Target. Much smaller than a typical Target, but at least theres a Starbucks and lots of nice widow seats. Also, plenty of parking... Used to be the BestBuy and very new inside. Clean and public restrooms. Wont be going there again - frustrated at the limited selection. But thats just me.

What a disappoinment! I was expecting a typical target store, but this one is small, poorly stocked with limited item selections. We left without buying anything to drove to San Rafael. I hope something changes with this store, it is such a convenient location!

This place would be better if it had more of what the people in the area needed. Food section isnt cold enough to keep the food fresh. Theres no snack bar for a quick bite or slurpee, just a dirty little Starbucks.
