Went in recently for two new bike tires. Was charged FULL retail price, also inner tubes were a few bucks more than Ive paid elsewhere, and finally $20 for labor. Absolutely nothing extra was done...lube my chain a little? NO! Adjust my derailer a touch? NO! Adjust my front spokes a tad? NO, NO, NO. Talking to the bike guy in there was frustrating, his demeanor was not unpleasant, but more like he was being interrupted from something else more important. I asked for a cross-type tire suitable for road and light trail. Both tires went flat on trail almost immediately! I am new to riding off road, bike guy failed to clarify the off road conditions which would have been suitable for the tires I purchased. I called and told the bike guy, he seemed unconcerned and proceeded to quote me full price again...inner tubes, labor, etc. I asked for a discount and bike guy reluctantly agreed to waive one of their $10 per tire installation fees, though he kinda scolded me saying he wasnt supposed to. I will NEVER return to this bike store for any reason whatsoever.

Just the facts. You draw your own conclusion. So... I brought two bicycles in for service, mine and my daughters. Mine had a flat, and my daughters needed to have the brake levers adjusted to fit my daughters tiny hands. They didnt want to touch my daughters bike, saying that it was "too cheap". They suggested that I return it to where I bought it from and buy one of theirs. As for my bike, it took them about 5 minutes to change my inner tube. It seemed fixed, but after riding it for about 17 miles the following day, my flat tire came back. I took it to Bicycle Johns to get it fixed. It took them about 20 minutes. After about 10 miles, so far so good.

When I needed help to get a new seat to fit my mountain bike, I took the new seat and the post and clamp into the store. They did not look compatible to me. The employee looked at the pieces and showed me how they fit together and gave me a few tips on how to adjust the seat. He could have sold me another part but was honest and helped me solve my problem. Thanks to the fine folks at Valley Bicycles. Ill get my next ride from Valley Bicycles.

owner of the shop is rude. I went in for a simple repair. The quality of the work was fine, but a bit pricey. They sarcastically told me that my bike is a piece of junk and they know I am going to buy a new one from them. I would never consider buying one from them.I suggest going to Newhall Bicycle instead on Main St or Canyon Bicycle on Soledad Canyon. You will get the same quality of work without the insults

Im all about the 80:20 rule in life, unless its my bike. Then the details really count. Too often a nice weekend ride has turned into a 1/2 nice ride and 1/2 bummer walk. Ive had more maintenance problems in the six months then Ive had in the past 25 years before. It must be much harder to do 100% these days then its ever been before.

Went to a few LBS around Santa Clarita, seemed like all they wanted to do was sell me something. The guys at Valley Bicycles were very knowledgable and helped me pick out the best bike for my budget and needs. Jeremy spent two hours getting me fit and helping pick out accessories and setup my bike rack on my car. Highly recommended!

They always try to find ways to void your warranty. My warranty was void for riding through mud...ON MY MOUNTAIN BIKE! I AM BEING PUNISHED FOR PUTTING MY BIKE TROUGH THE INTENDED USE
