My sales person Holly was very friendly, knowledgeable, and above all patient. She remained undaunted as my eyes wondered from one bike to the next in search of the perfect fit. After several long test rides when I began losing hope, she remained upbeat and eager to move on to the next bike. It became apparent that her top priority was helping me find the right bike regardless of the time and effort involved. I felt no pressure to buy at any time. This journey took 6-7 visits to the Culver City shop, involved 9-10 test rides with modifications made on some of the bikes. I finally landed on a bike that was the perfect combination of mountain climber, beach cruiser, and comfort, thanks to Holly, who clearly understands the heart of a bike enthusiast

I dont know how to ride a bike and came in with crazy gigantic training wheels and flat tires. The staff was really super helpful, did not laugh at me and did not stare in bewilderment. They recommended I get the training wheels put on by the repair guy. Thank goodness for that, cause I apparently did it all wrong and could have seriously mangled myself. Anyway, two intertubes and labor plus putting the giant training wheels on (though Im not sure if they charged for that ) was under $30. The repair tech even went outside with me to make sure that I could get on and off okay and showed me how to ride and change gears, which was extra nice considering they were closing. SUPER HAPPY!! I can ride a bike!

I was looking for a no-frills bike, and walked into the store with not much of an idea. Rocco asked me a bunch of questions about where I was going to ride, how much approximately I was going to ride, and then suggested that I try out a couple of bikes. He pointed out that the XL-sized frame was probably the best fit for me, and told me the pros and cons of each bicycle. I found a better price elsewhere, and I brought a print-out of the price, and they promptly matched the price. I could go on...friendly manager, Donovan who worked me through the order... but the takeaway is - give them a chance and you will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Ive purchased 2 of my 3 Townies from this shop. Two years ago I was riding in the bike path in Venice, hit a patch of sand and went down. I managed to ride up to this location just before the repair shop closed and they took my bike in and checked it out for damage. Luckily my bike was ok. They tightened up my breaks, wiped down my bike and filled up the tires and sent me on my way free of charge. Two weeks later I returned to purchase my latest bike and helped sell a set to an older couple looking at buying Townies.

I took my bike there to be checked. The rear tire kept loosing pressure. I asked to have a look at it if theres a small hole or something. Picked it up 3 days later. Of course I thought it was all ok so I didnt even bother to check the tire when I picked it up. Mounted it in the car went back home. Got ready to leave with my bike and just realized that it has lost all its pressure. I put air in it with my pimp and at the end of the day, again lost all its pressure. WHAT WERE THEY DOING FOR THOSE 3 DAYS?!?!????? Dont take your bike there for repair.

The Yelp rating and convenient location got me in the door the first time. Their customer service (they blew up my pilates ball) got me to come back and its on the second visit that they REALLY went out of their way to be especially generous with their labor costs. I was surrounded by guys who were veteran, hard-core Iron-Man triathlon cyclists, whereas, I havent seen my toes in 15 years. Everyone is extremely friendly and eager to get you riding again ASAP. I cant say enough good things about this shop. Check it out!

Probably a good place to buy a new bike. This was 2nd time going here. 1st was to ask about servicing my bike. Was ignored despite the place not being very busy. Once I did get someone, they seemed disinterested. 2nd time I went in for a kickstand and saddle. Initially got a question answered, they retrieved a kickstand for me to purchase, then I just stood there waiting to pay. Couldnt take it, had to walk away. I really want to support Culver City businesses, but Ill look for better service elsewhere.

Within 5 seconds of walking into wheel world I was greeted by a very friendly and upbeat staff member by the name of Sydney. She was very professional, and very knowledgeable. she helped me find the right bike at the right price, and even gave me some advice on how to ride the bike. She told me to test drive it for as long as i want to make sure the seat was comfy. I love this place and Im definitely going back for all my future accessory needs.

Ive bought numerous bikes and accesories from them since around 1992. I allways leave happy and feeling that I got a good deal. The staff is very knowledgeable and always steer me in the right direction, even if it means selling a less profitable item. They genuinely make you feel like they are looking out for you.

Upon entering I was greeted with a "Welcome" and a smile. Felt nervous because Id purchased my E-Bike elsewhere but they were cool about it and answered several questions for me. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice people. Brad, loves to talk shop and follows the E-Bike movement closely. I will come back often!

If you want to buy your first bike come here the employees are very professional and know what theyre talking about. Great customer service and great prices... I want to shout out Roman for helping me out and for price matching some of the gear I bought saved about 30$ thanks Roman!!

cant stand places you call but cant get a real person on the phone. shopped here before and it was okay but wanted to ask if they carried something before wasting a trip to store and got a looped automated phone voice system. Aargh!!
