This store is small, but mighty. Selection is enough for basic needs ranging from buying paint to buying a hammer. However if youre looking for paper shades for windows, you may need to go else where because I was shopping for that and they dont carry it. On a positive note, I had a great experience of having my keys duplicated. The key making station is located in the back of the store, theres not really a sign, but when I asked a staff member, she told me that shell meet me there in a moment. Less than 5 minutes later, I was out the door with 2 extra keys. Prices were good, about $3/key. Service was great, small parking, on a clear day you can get a glimpse of the ocean! This will be my go-to place for getting duplicate keys!

RACIST. The two men worked in the afternoon shift on 3/26/15 were racist. Cant believe this is still happening in a metro area like LA. Anyway, went in to get some replacement bolts. Was instructed to go to the shelves with hundreds variety of bolts to find it myself. Sure I counted that toward bad customer service. Minutes later the same man brought a white person and helping that person locating some bolts. WTF. I left the store immediately. If that is the kind of culture ACE is allowing, I will NEVER go back to them again. There are other options out there.

Funny how all the 4 and 5 star reviews are from White people. Ive never experienced Racism like I did yesterday 1/30/2017 while looking for some screws. The Guy there asked me if they were for a "GUN", then went on to tell his co worker who was only trying to assist me "NOT TO SPEND TOO MUCH ENERGY ON THIS GUY". As well as a lot more I dont care to repeat until later on when I have to. Well Im going to spend some energy on exposing this Racist establishment that has no place in a city as diverse as San Pedro.

store is great, people are friendly, but the hours are ridiculous. work till 5? have projects to do after work? then go to home depot, they will be open. Saturday projects running late, past 5pm? need more things to finish that project? Go to home depot, they will be open.

We waited a long time for a great hardware store to reappear in this neck of the woods. This is a tremendous store, with all the tools and products you might need for most home projects.
