Tim (owner) is a good guy... hard worker and aims to please his clients. Like any good owner, you have to be cruel to be kind, so treat him with respect, and youll receive the same in kind. Theyre not going to be the cheapest in town, but not the most expensive either, but what they will give is good quality service. Ive never witnessed any corner cutting, and I can say that of another shop in Los Angeles (Pena Racing) that has 5 stars on Yelp yet mounted my tire without balancing, forgot to clean the air filter, and God knows what else (Owner there is a good guy, but just not meticulous. Hes also a bit too cheap on his prices, and that shows up in the quality he provides... just not worth it if youre a serious rider like me. Stuff like brakes and chains can cost you your life).

I have to complement both Century and Illuminati Motorcycles. I was going to haul my vintage Honda from Long Beach up to Silver Lake because I thought that was the closest reputable repair shop. They told me that Century was much closer and did great work. I had tried another shop in Long Beach and they kept my Honda for about 2 months and never got to it so I had to go get it back. I took my bike to Century and they were fantastic. Tim said it might take a couple weeks to fix but they finished it the very next day and the cost was very reasonable. I was expecting it to cost 2 or 3 times what I paid. My 64 Honda now runs like a top and shifts perfectly. I highly recommend these guys and will always take my business back to them.

The first time I took my bike to Tim was to install a set of tires for my 02 honda vtx and it was a very pleasant experience and the job was done very quickly. Close to a year went by and it was time to get a tune up on her and I noticed my water pump was going out. Without question I went back to century and had everything done there and once again nothing but excellent customer service and quality work was done. Just brought her home and she feels better than the day I bought her. In this day and age its hard to find a good shop and good fair honest work and it feels really good to have found a great place to get my bike serviced from now on. Thanks Tim and to the mechanics also. 5 stars for sure .

Long story short I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and I took my bike to Century motorcycles to get fixed, so after having my bike stored for about 2 weeks because I was trying to get ahold of the persons insurance company. By then come to find out that the person didnt even have insurance. The guys at Century where super understanding about the situation and helped me with the holding fees. On top of that they made the whole process seamless and stress-free updating me throughout the way on the progress of my bike and at the end of the day they got my bike running good as new and a very satisfied customer definitely a great place to take your bike.

I rarely give high recommendations, but I am giving Century Motorcycles my highest recommendation. The shop is clean and very friendly. I met with the owner Tim Rutherford and told him that I had a Harley Davidson that was leaking gas. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the possible causes. My bike needed towing and he came to my home personally to tow it. My bike was repaired in 24 hours and the price was exceptionally good. I have been to several motorcycle shops and this one is the best. Tim is awesome. Im now a customer for life. He buys, sells and repairs all brands. Thank you Tim.

Im a private individual, your average person with a fair amount of common sense. I like Tim, his technicians, and his shop! Tim is a genuine person, a straight-shooter, honest, helpful, loves what hes doing & lives for it. Hes conscientious, is on top of his operation, which takes a lot of effort on his part to be able to run it so swimmingly. Im comfortable taking my brand-new bike to him to improve it, install OE & after-market parts, accessories & performance. Hes admirably capable. I support my community, Tim R and his shop!

Tim is a nice genuine guy, very concerned with his customers happiness. Bike runs great! One of the mechanics even brought my dog a bowl of water. Tims mother, and the former proprietor, was the lady who the famous bluegrass song "Red Molly" was written about. The original 52 Vincent from the song is actually at the shop, and Tim was nice enough to let take a peek under its cover. Im a huge bluegrass fan, and this is reason enough to swing by. Fair prices, timely service, and quality work. Thanks Century!

I had finally purchased my first bike last week. I took it straight to Tim at Century Motorcycles. He then helped me get this bike road ready. Him and his crew are the most knowledgeable in the South Bay. My bike went from a junker to a finished bike. A big thank you to Tim and the crew for everything youve done. Solid work.

Very nice, honest, down to earth people. I paid for my sons bike to be repaired but dont know how to ride it. They personally rode the bike to my house & helped me parked it in my garage. Now thats #1 service. I highly recommend them if fair honest work that is done right is what your looking for.

This place is awesome! Met Tim at the shop last year while on vacation and since moving here have stopped by a few times. They did exceptional work on my 2004 Honda. Btw, they throw an amazing Fathers Day party every year. We met the coolest people and heard the best stories. Check them out!

This place is great I was talking to the owner about my 1972 Honda CB 350 and he told me that my bike was actually a 1973 and also I had a question about my clutch and they answered it and it solved all my problems. Very satisfying this is how a business should be run!!!!

Bought a used Vespa and had an excellent experience. This is one of the few multi generational family owed motorcycle shops in the country. Tim the owner is very knowledgeable and willing to work with you to make you happy.

A little pricey but I guess when your the only MC shop within 23 miles you can do that. Talked with one of the mgr sounded like a nice guy and knew his stuff but if your trying to save money....
