After a day of work in the city I made a special trip that was out of my way, in order to make a return at your store #264. I needed to return some extra items that I bought January 9th for which I found out I had no need. I did not have the original receipt but I had one of the gift receipts for on one the items that was on the same transaction as well as had not removed any of the tags. Before making this trip I double checked the hours of operation to insure that I wouldnt make a trip in vain. I saw that this store was open until 12am so I made my way. Once I walked in around 11pm I saw that there were alot of employees in that area as well as 2 customerss; one standing in line while the other was being Helped. I got in line only to learn that customer service was closed and that they were helping their last customers. I asked to speak to a manager because I was frustrated after a long day and because there were so many employees verus only 2 customers ahead of me. I believe that of them could have offered to help, knowing that the registers had not yet been closed. I was directed to a man named Mr. Ishmel who made me feel horrible and gave some of the worst customer service Ive ever received. He would not look me in the eyes, he was walking all around behind the counter, did not stay in one place. Mr. Ishmel was so busy coming off preoccupied that he made me feel like he was barely listening to me. One of the other employees (there were almost 10 in the area) named Ms.Tangelia had to come over after seeing the look of discern in my eyes to try to reassure me in the correct and polite manner. I could tell that she was trying to clean up behind Mr. Ishmel and make up for his disrespect by actually listening, giving me her full attention and making me feel like a valued person. I do not know Mr. Ishmel or Ms. Tangelia in person or outside of your store. Maybe I made a mistake for coming without my receipt on a night when Mr. Ishmel was working but I never hope to again. I would like to thank Ms. Tangelia for her wonderful customer service. I wish that your store 264 had more employees of her caliber.

This store is terrible. I have only shopped here a few times and literally each visit gets worst. My last two are related, I ordered online and opted to have the items shipped to the store as I wasnt sure I actually wanted them all. I thought it would be easy to work with the store, I was wrong. My order shipped on 3 separate boxes, arriving on 3 different days. To be efficient I wanted until the last package arrived, well it turns out they will cancel/return your whole order after 7 days from the first package regardless of when the other items arrive. I arrive 2 days after my last package to find this out. After working with 5 differebt staff members they found everything. They still had all the boxes, so they opened all of them and made me re-buy everything in store. This was Oct 24th. There was a top I needed to try on, but was told they wouldnt allow me to so in store. But they assured me I could return it after try8nh on at home. No restrictions or exceptions. I returned to the store Nov 18 to return said top, I was told at the online area that it would be fine, but I had to go to customer service. Customer service said they would not accept it. The manager came over argued with me for 5 minutes, without caring about any part of the story with the online situation. She said no with no explanation as to why and nothing more to offer for help. I was so frustrated by the end that I wasnt going to accept that answer. I went to another location 5 miles away. This location was very helpful and got my whole situation resolved right away. Never go to this Davis St walmart. The store is always a mess, constantly busy, and their staff is rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful.

I dont mind the items that arrived. But, wallmart locks their website reviews once submitted, so if you make a mistake, there is no option to edit, and they edited my review without telling me. I bought a Champion bench press and Cap Barbell from them and both arrived with metal parts breaking through the cardboard boxes. The press arrived with the safety catch protruding through the box. The paint on the ends of the safety catch had been chipped off, and that damaged area was covered in rust from a repeated motion in shipping. It wasnt enough damage to return. I tried to clean the rust and it wasnt coming off so I mentioned the rust in a review, skipping the totally psychotic vibe from the shippers. A month later I rusoleumed the damaged area for a few days in a row and all the rust came off. So I went back to the website to request an edit of my review to list the shippers as having coated the damaged area in rust, and they wouldnt let me edit the review at all. I dont think thats an ethical way of running an organization.

Everytime i come here its always something. Its a headache but its 2 blocks away feom home and it has everything. But dayum its a hassle though. The shopping carts are dirty and sticky. Always getting stuck. Always out of stock in the baby department. Associates that have no clue what youre asking. Cuatomer service forcing you to take a gift card inatead of cash even though you have a receipt. Truat me a manager got involved. You gotta check your detergent or ice cream or other things because people open the package take some of its contents and leave. Or each food and put it back. Now there homelessness and beggers outside bugging customers or getting into fights. Homeless people sleeping in their cars so its scary to park your car. They dont stock according. WIC labels not in the right place or price tags are misplace. I pray to go in and out without an issue but yea right. Its better to shop at 6am when no one is there to bother you.

When I got to your Pharmacy counter to pick up my medication, there was a line and there were 4 customers in front of me. When I got my turn in front, your employee at the counter told us - and about other 2 customers behind me, that we were in the wrong line, telling us rather rudely as if we were grade-schoolers. There were no clear markings to indicate where the line should be. And then when I got to counter I gave her my name. My name starts with a G. She asked G for "GOOD". I said G for "George". She asked me again twice in a very condescending tone. I had to hold my tongue and told my self to be calm down. I think she would need a behavioral adjustment, and I call you on this. I was at your Davis, San Leandro, CA at around 4:00 pm. I did not get her name, but she is the one with a limp. I have decided that I will switch to the branch in Hesperian Blvd, San Leandro to avoid this kind of disrespect.
