Very bad customer service and attitude. Wanted to buy a sweet dish and was told it would be ready the next day. We went the next day and was told it was still not ready....again was instructed to go back the following day and was promised we could try the sweet dish (Gulab jamboon) as we wanted to order a large quantity as we were having guests over for dinner. When we went back on the 3rd day, the man at the till was extremely rude and arrogant and refused for us to try a sample even though we wanted to order a large quantity - he basically said to take it or leave it! We ended up buying just one box to try and am very glad we didnt order a large quantity as it tasted horrible. Even their Thepla and parotha are not the best. They certainly need to learn a bit about customer service, manners and to keep their word! Never going back there. There are many better Indian grocery stores that I will be shopping from!

Really lousy attitude by the owners. Visited the place three times to buy items and they kept saying to come the next day as they were preparing the items. They promised to let the kids try a small piece of the sweet dish so that we could buy a large quantity, but when it finally came to trying the owner turned up his nose and refused. Told us either we buy it or leave it. Definitely not going back here.

Its simply pathetic... To say the least! The vegetables there are literally rotten.. And so are the shop owners...they dont have the basic courtesy to put the grocery in the pastic bag... They just hand you over the bag like all the other stuff and expect u to do it yourself... Needless to say that they thank u for shopping at their store.. Worst ever.. Wonder how these people are still in business...

I love this place....i even aksed them to open store in uk,,as i live in uk....but been there loaads of time wen i went to san jose...ney ways great place to buy indian grocery including all the namkeens nd stuff...nd u knw wat some times they also giv free samosas thats awesome isnt it?...i wud surely order stuff if they delivered in uk..luv that place...Wag1!!!....cheers..people

This is my favorite Indian food market. I go there once or twice a week to pick up the roti, vegetables, fruits, and instant dishes. I had a lot of fun picking the dishes, most of which I had never tried before. The price is very reasonable. Things are well arranged, and also it looks clean...plus the people are very helpful and courteous. They also rent videos.

Good, simple grocery store with most things you can find. Also given its small size, its easier to get your shopping done quickly vs waiting in some really long lines when you go to some of the other Indian grocery stores. They do also have some Gujarati curries (very good) every day but do sell out by around 6:30pm on most days..

Place is fantastic family run grocery store with amazing food. Sandeep and his wife are super nice and hard working people. Been coming here for years now as my work used to be next door. I now visit and bring home a lot of food any time i am in the south bay.

A very small Indian grocery store BUT they make the best chapati that you can carry out in packs of 10. Call ahead, they run out. Try their other take-out Indian breads: methi-thepla (fenugreek), parathas, dhokla, khamand, and more!

This store gives free movie wirth $10 grocery ...... spice valley is the best store and they sell all things for reasonable price. It truely rocks as it provides desi flavor with american standards..what more one wants??

Try sweets and its frozen stuff. huge varieties n good quality. This in only store which is fully veterinarian grocery store. In short it clean n reasonable store. have gr8 shopping ....!!!!

Had multiple issues. First got expired products. Second charged more than the amount on the bill. Third they are very rude and you have to pack your items yourself.

I and my family get grocery from there its an awesome Indian store because they are not that expensive, clean and open 7days a week from 10am to 10pm.
