I am new to the area and just came over for some fresh produce...here come the cashier girl (I later know her role) picking blueberries from the ground (probably as a result of someone else erroneously drop a box or something like that). The problem is: the girl pick them up (from the ground) to put into an existing blueberries box (1 pint on sale for $3), instead of putting them in the trash bin. The girl then handed the box to the shelf-handler (another family member, likely) because she didnt have the courage to put that box on the shelf... Guess what, the shelf-handler put that very box back on the shelf (!) I witness the whole thing which made the cashier girl put the box back on the cart...but that was enough for me (!)... I would never going back to that place again! Not saying that Costco selling 12-pint for only $6!

Over charging at register. Be careful with these guys. On two separate occasions went in to buy some fruit and the price on the sign was not what was charged at the register. I told the "manager" about it, he should change the register price or the posted price and he said that it was a simple mistake. When I informed him that this was the second time that it happened, he said for me to take a mango "on the house." Im going to say that they count on people not paying attention to their receipts. The product is good but I prefer not to get ripped off.

Great place around to get fresh vegetables in decent price ( instead going to Safeway and other thieves ) , I am getting their all I need and more . They have also other products from around the world and sometime they surprise with special vegetables and fruit that you usually cant find in the other stores. I like , it is fresh and cheap - and supporting small local businesses is always a good thing , you should visit there too.

Looks a little shabby, but some produce deals could not be beat; deals change constantly; always check produce quality. In the back - grains, spices, oils, condiments and a small refrigerated section. Could find some unusual sweets. Parking is small.

Everything you could ask for in a neighborhood produce market. Always fresh produce at great prices with a good selection of middle eastern and Mediterranean goods. Staff is generally very friendly and recognizes regulars.

Great neighborhood produce store. Really good feta selection and a few specialty items from different countries that are difficult to find. Parking can be a pain but ample street parking.
