I like this Safeway.... they let me take my road bike in then laugh at me because I end up trying to carry a lot of items in my free hand. Hey, its not easy shopping and carefully walking a bike in a supermarket! And then the inevitable always seems to happen, their ice cream is on sale. So with boxes of cereal and yogurt drinks already awkwardly under my arm and my bike controlled with the opposite hand, I try to get a gallon of ice cream in the mix. The jokes really on me when you get a pint of ice cream free along with the gallon. You guyyyyyysssss. Thanks for being so cool - and the Wells Fargo staff remembers me too, we cant leave them out because they remember my music choices when I forget to turn off my ipod and make my way over to make a deposit.

I went here because I was in the area, and this safeway had way better ratings than the others. "Why would one franchise store be notable?" I wondered. I figured it was a fluke. But I have to say it was the nicest safeway experience Ive had. The staff is VERY friendly and makes sure to ask you if you need help when you enter a new area. They dont force it on you or anything, but are welcoming and smiling. And as I was walking out a random employee wished me a nice day. It may seem small, but it really improves the experience.

I come here about once a week for 10 months now. This is the most criminally understaffed safeway to ever exist. 9/10 times i have been here only one checker is open. Busy, slow, doesnt matter. This safeway has a strong one lane policy. Im sitting in line for that lane right now. 5 people in front of me and 5 behind. Over 20 minutes waiting now. How a manager hasnt been fired yet is beyond me.

Needed to pick up a few things. Ive been under the weather so it was a struggle. Got to check out at 7:53 and was informed that there are no checkers before 8 am. So. really the slogan should be, "threes a crowd except before 8am--before 8, we *really* dont care". Since theyre 24 hours, I would guess there also has to be a time after which there are no checkers.

This is my favorite Safeway by far! They totally upgraded the produce section and have the best produce for Safeway standards. Its also a huge store so it doesnt feel so cramped when you going from aisle to aisle. The bakery here is also really good.

This Safeway is clean and service is usually efficient, using either the cashiers or the self-checkout lanes. The produce is mostly pretty fresh and selections are good, including plenty of organic items. Pharmacists are helpful.

I love the cleanliness and friendly staff. There is a nice variety of baby products. I only wish it were a little less pricey, however it is worth spending the extra money for the experience and quality.

Great wine selection and friendly staff! Although I had to knock it down a star because the premade food in the deli section didnt look too fresh. But in their defense I did get there near closing time.

Lived just down the street; shopped in the middle of the night most times. Love that crew!! Can be a bit of a zoo during the day, esp on weekends. Store carries everything, even dry ice. Pricey though.

Very nice, well-stocked, modern Safeway in the Villa Shopping Center at Stevens Creek and Lawrence Expressway. Very helpful staff and a huge selection. One of my favorite food stores.

If you want the # 1 BEST produce ever, then heres where to find it. Ive gotten fruit from Costco, and it doesnt last. Thats why Safeway produce is rated # 1. I only shop at Safeway.

Our usual grocery shopping digs. This store is kept clean and the grocery staff are pleasant. The deli section is poorly run and rarely clean. The bakery is fairly well run.
