1st let me say I have shopped hear over 50 times in the last 3 years so this is a real reaview...anyone giving this place more than 3 stars simply does not know what they are talking about. The only saving grace is there hand made sausages made in a variety of flavors..all natural. The produce is hit and miss. The produce bags are crap. You might as well not even use them. They use Boars Head products in their deli department. I would not recommend buying bulk nuts from them as I have found moths in them more than once. Update: I gave them 3 stars before but after coming in 3 more separate times this year for thinly sliced specialty Italian meats, they get a major fail!!! The meat looked like it was put through a paper shredder and they did not even know that you have to separate the meat or it will stick to each other :( The Boars Head distributor was there today I told her to keep her meats cuz the slicer blades (all 4 of them) are dull. She told them they need to sharpen the blades...as I was walking away, she offered me the pre packaged prosciutto. (The meat was discolored and definitely not fresh) I said no thank you and walked away in disgust. It is quite clear to me that sprouts Farmers Market has no Concept of Quality Foods.

There is usually a good selection of fresh produce, and Sprouts is one of the only stores on the area that carries many allergen-free foods that we have to buy. But the customer service experience entirely mitigates any positives. Cashiers are extremely slow – even the speed at which they move items over scanners seems exaggerated and sluggish. Small talk is annoyingly verbose, and continues as you try to leave. Those that dont make too much small talk are too busy talking to other employees. On many occasions, Ive seen cashiers eating food at the register, between handling items or receipts. Some even complain to customers about working conditions or the turnover rate – this has happened on three of my last four visits. I wont be shopping here again, unless I have no good alternative.

Hands down the best grocery store! The customer service is FANTASTIC!! The staff there really is so joyful and helpful. Ive had questions about products, produce, and meat, and Im not joking when I share that they will open it rt there on the spot and let you taste it before u buy it to make sure of your enjoyment! Wait it gets better, the meat manager when I asked if this is a good meat to grill for steak sandwiches, gave me some tips on how prep and grill it and then gave me the package of meat for FREE as a sample!! He said, "Here, try it and see if you like it." Who does that?! That is so RAD!! Not to mention the food options are FABULOUS!!! I have a lot of allergies and this is the only grocery store that aids in making shopping easier with GLUTEN FREE price tags

Sprouts is an excellent and more affordable alternative to Whole Foods. The selection likely isnt as exotic or varied but when it comes to produce at least you can find a much wider selection than your average supermarket at more or less comparable prices. Still this isnt a grocery store you visit expecting to find everything you need, its a more focused market. Produce is clearly the main draw here but they do have a decent deli and health food section as well. Parking at this location can be difficult at times, its a dense shopping center and very tight lot.

Less expensive than Whole Paycheck and has excellent selection. It is also less snobby than that other whole food store. I like Sprouts, but given the location, and customers, this store does have a slight snobbish air. Otherwise, they have wine, vitamins, probiotics, bakery, deli and real nice produce at reasonable prices. The store is conveniently located in a shopping plaza, and in proximity to other plazas and malls. The parking can be treacherous so watch yourself when walking in the parking lot.

I’m a Whole Foods lover, but I don’t want to spend a bunch of money for regular grocery items. That’s where Sprouts comes in. For all the basics (produce, meats, snacks) it’s hard to beat the value of this place. Once a week I usually pick up a rotisserie chicken, which I prefer to other supermarket’s (except Whole Foods, but it’s that price thing). The staff is very friendly. The only downside is the lines can get kind of long here, but I suppose that could be seen as a good sign.

Excellent service and caring people. They have the apple bread my mother likes and the dried vegetable chips that I like. I wont repeat it because I mentioned this in a post about Westgate West. Employees are very kind and caring one of them stayed with the old woman and I while I waited for the ambulance for the old woman who ran into my car. She wasnt hurt, but she didnt seem like she was herself. Even though I didnt know her I felt she was acting a little out of it.

Good alternative to Whole Foods, but selection is not quite as wide. They dont have a bakery, and their butcher section is less than of WF, but their vitamin section, wine, dairy and products is very good. Prices are a bit better than WF I think. They have weekly deals, and their new flyer comes out on Wednesdays, and that day you get deals from both the old and new flyers.

First enountered Sprouts Farmers Market in Tucson, AZ, where it was my fathers local "better" grocery. We were delighted to discover locations in the South Bay now that we live in San Jose. Good clean food, a nice butcher counter, organics and things to meet the needs of friends and family with allergies. A shop for cooks looking for wonderful ingredients!

This isnt a smaller version of Whole Foods. In terms of quality of meat, seafood, and produce, Sprouts is still miles behind Whole Foods. In fact, some prices are even higher than WHole Foods. I suggest stocking up on staples at Sprouts and then buying produce/seafood/meat at a quality market such WF or Mitsuwa. In this way, you get the best of both worlds.

Fresh produce, some harder to locate health food items and smaller footprint than the giant chain grocery stores make this a bit e place to shop on occasion. I have sometimes grabbed some very good soups from a fresh made soup to go section or scooped up assorted olives from the deli bar area. Decent cheese selection as well.

I love the produce and the butcher and deli counters are great. The butcher wet out of his way to fix me and give me fresh ground beef that had run out. But the floor associates know very little about product and are bout very friendly or helpful.

This store often has an off-putting smell in the air when you enter it. Besides, veges and fruits dont look fresh half the time. They do have quite a good selection of organic health food, cosmetics, medicines etc. like Wholefoods.

Possibly best place to buy really healthy foods since they carry various types of grains, amazing types of nuts, different flavors of granula and tons of plant based health supplements. + Good selection of fresh produce.

They go out of their way to make sure you are happy. One star deducted for the fact that they dont respond to intercom requests in a timely manner, sometimes even ignoring those requests.
