델 몬트 쇼핑센터를 구경하고 나서 식사는 이곳에서 해도 좋은 것 같습니다. 대형 식료품 수퍼마켓이지만 입구에 샐러드 바와 메인 요리 바, 수프바가 있어 원하는대로 골라 담아 무게로 달아서 계산 후 문 앞에 있는 테이블에서 먹으면 됩니다. 사가는 사람들이 많아서 음식은 계속 리필해 놓아 신선하지만, 파운드 당 $8.99라서 어느 델리나 식당 못지 않게 식사 값이 나옵니다. 저희는 대형 샐러드, 닭고기랑 두부 한쪽씩, 스파게티와 익힌 야채, 버섯크림 수프, 샐러드 드레싱 2종, 무알콜 맥주, 이렇게 해서 $38쯤 나왔네요. 팁을 줄 필요는 없으니 거기서 절약한다 생각하고 위로 했습니다. 샐러드 구입 시 드레싱은 따로 용기에 담을 경우 $8.99로 같이 무게 달아 계산됩니다. 드레싱은 무료 제공인지 알았다가 당황했네요. 그냥 샐러드 위에 뿌려 가져가는 편이 낫겠습니다. 조리된 음식들의 경우 두루두루 먹을 맛 했습니다.

Scared of salad bar! ....How on earth did WF find a way to mix old fish into the sauerkraut?? Last night I got a large salad and noticed a new item...SAUERKRAUT! Piling heaps onto my salad, I set off to have a nice salad for dinner. After about 5 large bites I realized my fish was FISHY! But OH NO,....I didnt have any fish in my salad!!! I picked out a possible culprit and BINGO!...the sauerkraut smelled of very old fishy fish! YIKES! I promptly called WF and they said theyd check into the matter and call me back. Apparently they tasted or smelled or both, (poor guys) then promptly got back to me, saying "Dont eat any more...we are pulling it off the salad bar". It was five large bites too late. Woke at 1:30 am with bad cramping and sick to stomach. Not fun. Again, what worries me is they dont know how this occurred... HMMM...

This is a very bad Whole Foods. Each time I walk into it, there is something that goes wrong. We have gotten food poisoning from their deli sandwiches, bought a boneless beef roast that had little pieces of bones in it and was not properly cut, found pears with an organic sign on it that where not organic, bought supplements strongly recommended by the sales person that bore the mention "absolutely no use if breastfeeding" with our baby sitting in the cart. Eating organic is very important for our family. It is really to bad that there is nowhere else to go around Monterey for that. We have shopped at different Whole Foods for years before moving to Monterey. I will now drive to Santa Cruz for groceries and strongly suggest that people start voting with their dollars.

Messy unattended soup bar, poor attitudes in the over-priced meat department, starchy hot deli leans toward Mexican style fast food, uninteresting mac & cheese, and other pasta casseroles without much seasoning or innovation. Packaged fruits and cut vegetables are left on shelf too long and not fresh. Poor lighting, crowded aisles, even with smaller shopping carts. Store needs everything from renovation to new management. Worst Whole Foods weve experienced anywhere!

380,000 views on their Google Plus page and Nothing on it. Just a bunch of bad reviews which are negative these past 3 years. I would do Paris Bakery or TraderJoes for interesting items. Organic items here from China dont appear true. NYC owners apologized for over-charging Californians for their food products this June in the News. One big corporate chain called WholePaycheck. Monte-Vista for meats, best bet.

Whole Foods Market is a fantastic market with top-notch quality products. If you are looking for vegetarian or vegan products they have a alot of different options and products. Overall they have a great selection of wine , beer, cheeses , meats , fish and produce . Service was great and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the products !! I highly recommend this place.

Most of "Whole Foods" food/merchandise is made in China. Please look at the labels. I used to buy almost everything from them, but no more! I am bothered that they advertise their food as "organic." food from China cannot be guaranteed as organic.

The checkout situation and parking here are nerve-racking. Overall, I find the quality and freshness of deli and produce to be just adequate. Aisles need to be widened to make shopping here less stressful. Finally, get some local produce!!

Wonderful Whole Foods Market in the Del Monte Center in Monterey California. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy your prepared food. Good selection and a nice setting in the Del Monte Center. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.

They have great local produce. All the staff was friendly.Its a great store at a great location. The parking lot can get really packed and parking is tight. that would be the only downside. so when you pull in just take it slow .
