SCAM ALERT. I need to report this man, first google review ever. I took in a brand new working Shinola watch that I had just gotten for Christmas. I asked the owner to take a link out and he takes in in the back and after about a minute says he is almost done changing the battery. I never asked him to change the battery in the first place. I say that I never asked for that service and only needed a link taken out. He told me it was low anyway and no charge for the battery, so I didnt think much of it. I look at my watch and notice it is not working. I tell him to place the battery he took out back into the watch. He replaces the old battery and now the watch isnt working at all. He tells me he has a great watch guy that can fix this and wants to send it to him. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ??? I brought this guy a brand new working watch,(Literally in the box on christmas) and he took it in back and changed the battery without me asking and did who knows what with it. Now he wants to send it to his Watch Guy ? This guy realized I didnt want the battery and he messed up so he tried to get money out of me by sending it in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING.

Took in my Invicta watch to have a new battery put in it. Worked fine as it should right ? A week in a half later i go out to wash my truck and look at my watch to see what time it is and noticed it has condensation between the face plate and the glass. I was there in San Jose for a vacation and live here in Arizona.I give the old man a call and he starts giving me all of these analogies about taking a car in to the shop to get fixed .... BLAH BLAH.The watch worked perfectly fine until the battery needed to be replaced and had no issues what so ever when i went swimming with it till i wash my truck from having the battery replaced. The old man just made excuses and i could tell he wasnt going to do anything about it so i just told him not to worry as i have learned my lesson on when i purchase a item i will just take it to a AUTHORIZED dealer.If i had a problem with my submariner Rolex i would take it to a authorized dealer since it is a $ 8,500 watch but for a $900.00 watch knowing it was just a battery who would of thunk there would of been any problems. As always these days no one wants to be accountable anymore and just wants to pass the buck.
