I have had the worst experience with customer service at this home depot. I had issues with multiple orders coming in late, and then when I called to inquire about the orders, I never really got anywhere over the phone. In one instance where I ordered a tub, toilets, and sinks, I was originally told it would take 7-10 days because they were in stock. I called back 10 days later and they told me it would be another week. I call back a week later and they tell me it should be in by the end of the week. I called the next week only to find out the sinks had been backordered so nothing had shipped. So it ended up taking a month to get anything when I was originally told 7-10 days. At other times, when inquiring about orders (and once with a complaint about installation, which was the installers fault, not home depot) I was told I would get a call back the next day or at the end of the week. Every single time they told me they would call me back (at least 10-15 times), they never did. This home depot has been a constant source of delay for my home remodel, and I will never do business with this home depot again.

The employees are always pretty cool. Some have come to recognize me and welcome me back, and they love my dog. Ive never had a hard time finding assistance and someone is usually close by to ask if I need something. Just yesterday I was looking for a new toilet and no less than 5 employees offered to help. An employee who happened to be outside even helped me load it into my truck. Might not be a big deal to some, but for someone like me (kind of reserved and not always willing to ask for help) its really nice. For a while I avoided the store because I was constantly dodging salespeople when I just wanted to get in and out quickly. This has improved. I always find a parking spot, I almost always find what I need, and the vibe is always pleasant.

Ive found a standard store layout, decent product availability, and good to great employee advice/help the past few visits. A factor thats likely to have helped with employee availability is time of day, as all recent visits were in the 830pm to 10pm range. With a few older, previous visits, I experienced less than stellar service and one genuinely bad experience, hence 4 stars. However if things continue as they have been most recently Ill update this review.

Nicholas in the hardware tool section was great! My friend found a great little piece of fencing for sale that was no cut final sale. We needed it cut. The first employee was not very helpful and told us he couldnt do anything because it was store policy not to cut.... So my friend asked Nicholas and he offered his help in the DIY cutting section that the other guy failed to mention... He showed truly great customer service skills

At this point everyone has been to a HD, so I doubt one more review is going to change anyones mind, but...this particular location is solid. The general staff are hit or miss, but the Pro Desk people are helpful. Its impossible to escape HD without buying a bunch of stuff you didnt think you need but now realize is necessary to keep your house from falling down.

I went in to grab a few nuts and talked with an employee in the hardware section for a few minutes. While they didnt have what I needed (minus a star) the gentleman was very helpful and pointed me to two or three other places in San Diego that did have what I wanted. The remaining stars are for service!

Once they get to know you, and you get to know them,its not bad. Sometimes when you get to know employees of a certain location or business, you learn who to avoid. Theres know one at this location that I try to avoid. Even when Im asked if I need help, they back off as soon as I say no. Love ob

I swear every time I walk into a Home Depot every employee bee-lines for the door. I have struggled to even be acknowledged here and at other locations for years. Not for people looking for advice or help, but great if you know exactly what you want, and exactly where it is in the massive store.

I wen to this Home Depot to pick up some plumbing supplies and a few tools to add to my toolbox. The help that I got in the plumbing section was terrific, however it did take me a while to find the help. I was surprised in how busy the store was and yet the check out process was extremely fast.

Very disappointed. Tried to show my military ID but was declined by an arrogant employee that claimed to be a veteran. Its a shame that such a big company would train their employees to not take care of their own countrys service members past and present.

Great selection, prices, service and website. This location is near my house and is always easy in and out with what I need for any project. Nice big parking lot. Free coffee for paying customers in the morning if you go in the contractors entrance!

Deanna is probably the rudest customer service person at all of the Home Depot. I have shopped at this location for at least 15 years. Another clerk was helping me and took it upon to jump in and jump up. No one asked for her two cents!!!

Employees are helpful...better know where your going and what your getting on the weekend, because its hard to find an associate available.. not their fault, they are just overrun. I rarely ask for help, hence 4 trips on a single day.

They have what I need and helpful apps to find it And considerate enough employees to convey when they dont know where something is. There are so many parts and its better to not go on a fishing expedition in the first place

Stopped in yesterday to pick up a new sprinkler head, hose, and fertilizer. It was busier than I was anticipating but it didnt take long for us to get in and out. Robb helped us find the exact match to our sprinkler head.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get somebody to answer a question over the phone. You will be transferred and transferred, and put on hold repeatedly, and no one will help you. Pathetic...
