Even though I dont live in North Park I bring my bikes into North Park bikes for maintenance. Three years ago I had a bike fully tuned and wasnt super stoked on the results. They worked with me to make it right. Since then theyve added some incredible bike maintenance team members, and even though I can do a lot of basic work myself I have been bringing it to them because they go above and beyond providing quality work, fair pricing and will take the time to explain to me what theyre doing and why. Theyll also talk me through ways to avoid problems or help choose equipment based on the type of riding style I have. The current team in the shop is top-notch. I recently had a 14 year old mountain bike tuned up and it came back cleaner than new. In fact, it is like riding a brand new bike. Excellent service. Called ahead and they promptly answered the phone and told me they could have me in and out the same day. I came in on my commuter with a brake housing that needed to be replaced and they did the job on the spot for a great price. Turns out my lever was worn out and needed to be replaced, and they threw in a gently used one as part of the deal. This has become my go-to bike shop in the area. They have the best selection of used bikes Ive come across in San Diego. Before I found this place, whenever I took my bike to Thomass, Id have to play the waiting game and delay after delay. My bike is my transportation and I need it now!

I recently went in with an old bike I had sitting around hoping to get it dixed. The gentleman at the counter was very knowledgeable on what repairs would be needed. At the end of all the fixtures he advised that it would probably be better to get a new bike after totaling the repairs. Needless to say I am grateful he gave me his recommendation and now am a proud owner of a pure fix. The customer service was great. It will definitely be my go to shop.

Firstly..these guys are friendly. Unlike other bike shops, they make you feel welcome and have no problem educating you about your bike if you have questions. They have the best hours by far..and the lowest prices. Ive been to every local bike shop, and this is my new favorite, without a doubt. Customer service + prices + location = sold! :)

Be careful with this guys. He promised us to buy our bikes back for 100 Dollar each bike. At the end he told us he can only give us 50 per bike. We didn´t use the bikes often. We found much better bikes in the other bike stores for less money. So first take a look in other stores!!!!!!!!!!

Love this shop. Dropped in after I blew out the side wall on my road bike tire. They dropped what they were doing, got me a new tire and tube and i was on the road in less than 20 minutes.
