Do not trust this jewelry store! It isn’t what it used to be. They will sell you items that are flawed without telling you, then refuse to take them back. My boyfriend and I recently purchased an engagement ring. A couple of days later I looked at the ring with a magnifying glass (loope) and saw 2 chips in the stone! I was shocked! I immediately called the store. The sales person looked up the description of the ring on file (that was not given to us or revealed to us) and agreed that it had 2 chips. She said that we bought it that way. I said we wanted to return the ring but she said we needed to meet with the owner. We made an appointment with the owner of the store, Mr. Jessop, a couple of days later. The owner was very forceful in saying that the ring was now a used ring so he would lose money and have to sell it for less. He said he could not refund our money. We told him that the ring was sold to us flawed as the chips were not revealed to us before we bought it. We said we would gladly pay for the ring sizing. After much discussion, Mr. Jessop said he would have to charge us $150.00 for sizing (which the store’s listed price on the website is $45.00) plus $265.00 for restocking. The rest he would return. This is absurd! The website’s “2 week money back guarantee” is misleading. Mr. Jessop was unreasonable, rude and extremely unfair. I would never step foot into that store again.

If ever you are looking for a unique, high quality vintage engagement ring, Jessops is a must to check out! After weeks of searching for the perfect antique engagement ring, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon the most beautiful ring online at Jessops which also happened to be a few thousand more than we could pay. Unfazed, we decided to email the shop for details on the ring including a request for extra pictures. We were met with a prompt response and numerous pictures from the friendly staff. So in love with the ring, we decided to come into the shop to see it in person. When we arrived, Carmen already had the ring pulled aside to show us. After hearing of our tight budget, she responded by offering to talk to the owner about switching out the center stone or possibly replicating the ring via the designers in house. A few days later, she emailed to say that the owner was willing to modify the piece despite their normal policy to keep estate pieces as is. They even took my desire to have an Old European Cut stone into consideration when finding a replacement diamond! Within days they had found a replacement stone which would put the ring within our price range. We now have an incredibly unique ring, thanks to the helpfulness of the amazing staff. Highly recommend!!

Only one size change is complimentary with the purchase of the ring, so make sure you know your SOs ring size before going here. I paid to have my engagement ring resized after the initial purchase, but it wasnt sized correctly. I took it back a second time and was charged even more money, because of the rhodium plating? Why was I not charged that the first time? And why was I not informed Id be charged that before the 2nd resizing?. And finally, the ring still does not fit! I will not waste more time and money at this place.

Had a really great experience here. My fiance looked hard to find the perfect estate ring for me. Luckily Jessops has a lot of vintage rings and they are all assesed by their certified gemologists on the staff so you know exactly what you are getting. They sized it to fit and we are thrilled with everything. Hope top go back soon!
