the fabrics were ok but the display of pricing are misleading and confusing. i was interested in buying a yard of sequence type fabric hanging up and saw the price directly next to it say 14.98 a yard which seemed reasonable. after it being taken down off display for me, cut, and bagged was then that the old lady helping said it was 40 dollars. nowhere in the area did it display that price. the only thing was the sticker price i saw next to the fabric. shr proceeded to tell me "welp, its already cut." uhh excuse me? after finally going back and forth with her, she grabbed the fabric out of the pile in my bag n threw it in a pile of other fabrics behind the counter n gave me attitude through the entire checkout. it was the most rude and uncomfortable experience Ive ever had.

This store does have wonderful fabric, but I had VERY poor service the other day. I asked an older woman to help me move a bolt of cloth (I told her I had hand surgery and couldn’t lift it) she looked at me like I had three heads, and I felt very embarrassed. When she measured the cloth for me I felt like I was inconveniencing her, like she had somewhere else to go, and I felt bad, like I was holding her up. No eye contact, not friendly. It’s like you wondered if you did something wrong but couldn’t figure out what it was. The service was too unfriendly and I was too embarrassed to ask for honest help; I don’t think I’ll go there again.

Well this is a cool spot thats for sure. Ive had projects where I needed fabric of a variety of types. Never would have imagined such a store could exist. Its fun to visit by itself since its inside of an old movie theater. The selection is about as vast as anything Ive seen in San Diego, including the National City Swap. Cant comment price wise as I do not usually need fabric but I can say the selection is impressive and if you need to find that one piece Im sure this price is worth it.

Oh my goodness! If you love interesting fabrics, this place is like a decedent desert! Theres so many bolts of every type of fabric imaginable to feast your eyes on! From upholstery materials to sheers, youll find it here. The prices are quite low which makes the temptation to over indulge hard to resist!

Fabrics!! Good ones =). And at very reasonable prices. They have tons of the funky, colorful, vibrant (furry, shiny, trippy) fabrics you dont find much at other fabric stores. The staff is pretty laid back so they definitely wont get in your face, but theyre generally helpful when you approach.

Great selection of fabrics, good prices, and the staff was really nice. They arent all up in your face and will help you if you ask. The location is pretty awesome too and since its an old movie theater, its pretty big in there. I could stay in there for hours!

Nice staff, discount prices, varied selection, and interesting history of the building. Been there quite a few times now and consistent service as well. Not always as knowledgeable as some fabric shops, but pretty good.

i love just going in this store and browsing. in alot of cases they give more fabric for your money than other places. my only thing is that they do close a little early. but the staff are great.
