Theyve lost my business, and I have been buying from their storefront regularly since 2001. Word to the wise, try Jo Ann Fabrics or E-Bay. I placed an order with A1 Foam and Fabric over two weeks ago. Hadnt showed up in the mail so I sent an e-mail to follow up, no response for a few days. So I called. The item, listed on their website obviously, was no longer available. No one called or e-mailed me to inform me, and the order status STILL shows that its current. I asked if the woman (B Brito) over the phone had time to look for and offer a different vinyl of a similar color, she said she had other calls on hold, implying she had no time for me and my small order. WOW. Considering that you can buy the same product from a dozen different retailers for about the same price nowadays, I feel its very important to keep these companies accountable for customer service. Go elsewhere!

Dont be turned off by the less-than-ideal parking lot or the initial chaotic appearance that hits you when you first walk in. This place is a real gem. If youre looking to create anything out of fabric - and especially if you want to work on any sort of upholstery project, this is the place to go. Make sure you arrive with measurements and dont be afraid to ask questions. Ron (he works the floor), is wonderful. I cant say enough about him. He is so patient and so knowledgeable. You can bounce your ideas off of him and ask him for advice. He helped me create my own project at a third of the cost that everyone else was charging and he offered me so many shortcuts and tips. This place is a real, busy, working environment so plan on spending some time there if youre in need of guidance . . . But its worth the wait. The savings alone will have you smiling.

I dont know how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. They have EVERYTHING and at great prices. Sure, good luck finding it the first time around the block (parking is in back!), an no its not organized like a high end library, but tell them what you are looking for and they will surely have it. Worth a visit, as is the little upholstery shop next door (Angels).
