This place has so much stuff it can sometimes be overwhelming. On one side of the store is fresh produce, much of it organic. On the other side of the store is prepared food, both hot and cold. It can be eaten there, cafeteria style, with inside and outside seating both downstairs and upstairs, or packed in one of their "to go" boxes to take it with you. And the food is good! Vegetarian, Vegan, non-dairy, gluten free, you can find it all, along with meat items. In between the two sides is a melange of items. Theres food, of course, but all of it healthy in one way another. Even the chocolate is organic, or a high percentage of cocoa, or gluten or dairy free. You get the idea. Theres the vitamin / mineral / supplement section. And it is large and stocked. Luckily they have someone there at all times to help you. They also have a make-up section; a jewelry section; an aromatherapy section; an incense section; a yoga section; and much more! Need help? There is a centrally located Help Desk. Bathroom? One downstairs and one upstairs by the mezzanine. Both are individual and unisex. Unfortunately, only the upstairs bathroom has a baby changing table. Fortunately, there is an elevator right next to both. This place is huge and so is its parking lot, which includes plenty of handicap spots and even a few free SMUD hookups. Come enjoy yourself but dont expect to get out of there quickly, theres too much to see and lots of people there wanting to see it.

No vegan options at the hot bar (other then vegetables and rice) when asked someone if there was some, that I may have missed I received a "No". Spent $10 on food from the bar that ended up being cold and way over priced. It was rice and vegetables! Then the cashier didnt even say a "Hi", while she was chatting the day away with other employees. Girl, I am not expecting a red carpet but when I have to be the one to ask if your line is open and those are the only words spoke between us, no thank you Whole Foods. I have to agree with another reviewer the food looks like cafeteria food and my old Whole Foods in North Carolina which is the size of a shoe box had a HUGE vegan variety, kosher and all other food choices. Just go to the Co-op.

The girl at the coffee counter was very short and rude with me. I asked for a piece of tap over the pizza box, as it would not close and she insisted on trying to close it and telling me how it was supposed to work, talking down to me like a child. Even though I had just told her it wouldnt and I tried already. She bent the pizza and scraped parts of it off in the process. It wasnt until another worker came up and too over the cash register next to her that she finally taped it. After me asking three time for her to just tape it. She was then very short with me for the rest of the transaction. I love whole foods. But that might have been the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Disorganized store, lots of incorrect signage and too many instances of absent signage, employees not empowered to make executive decisions to offer great customer service, employees not adequately knowledgeable beyond their one department (other stores rotate employees to give them experience in all depts before they specialize), just generally lacking in many areas and not well managed. It could be a much better shopping experience. Also, quite a few mainstream products available and not as many health food options available for a "health foods store." They should stick to what they know. Not my favourite WFs in the world.

First time I ever step foot into a Whole Foods in my entire life and oh my lord these people are nice af! At least 4 employees said hello and asked how I was doing before I even got to the coffee section, thats all I went there for was coffee. I received help from the crew manager from restocking I think? Dude was just genuinely nice and he was so nice to me, He has me believing hes that nice to people all the time even outside of work. On my way to the coffee aisle, I walked past the deli and saw beautiful cheeses and the smell of food in the air was heavenly to say the least. They should rename this place Wheaven Foods.

We had a similar issues wit the store manager about a gift card that we purchased and have the receipt. The store manager, a lady, was more than rude, said the card was not valid and now we are fighting it with the head office. This is unreal. The store manager shot;d be fired and she was rude and used crude language to us over the phone while slandering me. The cost to shop there is 3x more than anyplace with similar foods and thesis how we are treated!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away form Whole foods in general, especially the one on Arden Way in Sacramento...

Very pricey - it seems clear to me that they jack the prices up on many items because they know they can get away with it. I used to shop there occasionally because I felt I just didnt have other options for certain items. And honestly, their salad bar and some of their prepared food items are always very tempting. But I have gradually shifted away from giving them my business. Ive learned that if I use a combination of Trader Joes, local farmers markets, and online shopping, I can get what I need. I just dont feel I want to support these folks.

Let me start of by saying i love whole foods. I"m from huntsville alabama and our whole foods is amazing. This one on the other hand is not so amazing. The hot bar looks like cafateria food from middle school and everyday it is the same stuff. Also the salad bR temp is not low enough so by 11am everyday the salad bar is no longer fresh and by night time its not edible usually. Also the store carries about 1/4 of the items that my store in huntsville carries. Sorry guys i have high standers for you ans this location is run poorly in my opinion.

If you like rats in the bakery or all up in your produce, this is the place to come. Surprised the manager didnt feel it was worth closing down shop to actually properly clean after an employee spotted it but thats none of my business, I would never shop here to begin with, just have heard stories of good people struggling to feed their family here and it infuriates me when you are informing management and they almost ask what you want or expect them to do? Like im not on your salary buddy, do your damn job
