Shopping with Bassett furniture was our worst mistake!! One month ago we went into their Roseville California store. We were told all their furniture is made in America with the finest quality material. Their sales rep repeated this over and over again. She showed us a couch that was being discontinued. After an hour being in the store...we purchased a leather sofa that was on clearance. There were 2 of these couches in New York. She explained it would be a 4 to 6 week delivery. Two weeks later, our couch arrives. The delivery men bring the couch into the living room and take the plastic cover off. A tag is on the couch states...MADE IN CHINA!!!!!!!! Can you imagine seeing that tag? MADE IN CHINA. I WAITED 2 weeks so I could calmed down before I contacted the store. I emailed the sales rep and spoke with the manager. The manager said the leather is not the high quality standard leather, but the frame was made here and sent to China to finish the product. That evening, the manager emailed me and stated we could bring the couch back ourselves and the staff could try to resale the couch, BUT we would be responsible for paying their reps commission. They did not represent the product accurately. We did not make an informed decision on this purchase. SHAME ON BASSETT. I am keeping this tag on our couch to show everyone who comes into our house. Putting this message on all forms of social media.

All their furniture at the show room do not represent what is delivered to you at the home. They are a CHEAP representation of what is displayed at their store. Warranty? After you sign for the furniture, good luck with that. 1 day after receiving my Dillion couch that cost us ~4000 USD, I was given the run around about the reclining motor and was told that I would have to purchase another unit! Can you believe that? After being fed up with that response, I got an attorney friend file a warranty claim with them and finally they sent someone to come look at it. They told me would fix the problem and they did, but the problem kept coming back and they kept on fixing the same problem over and over again....Until finally I asked them to replace the chair. Which worked until about 2 months later (now im out of warranty by 1 day) the problem has returned and Im SOL. Even the staff there was not helpful. They told me I should have bought the warranty, but I was like, If you tout that your product is finely made furniture why would you need to buy it? Never buy this brand, they are a bunch of crooks.

Definitely the worst shopping experience I have made, sales associates there are liars, they change their faces immediately after I paid the money. The furnitures were arrived broken, some furnitures they promised to deliver in 4 weeks but actually I still didnt receive them until NOW which is already two months! I called them two weeks before they said they would deliver one week before, I called again last week and was told to be delivered this week, I know if I call this week there will for sure be another delay. LIARS THEY ARE! TRY TO AVOID BUYING ANYTHING IN THIS BASSETT PLS!

Excellent furniture and very knowledgeable and friendly staff with experience in interior design. This furniture is expensive, but elegant and of very high quality, with extensive customization possible. Recommended.
