Piss poor service to say the least. I ordered an iPad Air 2, for school and work purposes, through the website and chose to pickup at this location as I live nearby. It was about 30 minutes after I placed the order, I walked in and informed them that I had placed an order for pickup online. Understandably, I was advised to wait about 15 minutes or so as the order was not complete yet. I gave it about an hour and came back and again I was informed to wait another hour as my order had not been fulfilled yet. After waiting another hour, which was now closing time, I went in and was told, "your order will be pushed to be fulfilled tomorrow. We have to wait for your order to queue up so we can fill it, we cant just pull the order." I was pretty upset that they couldnt just pull the order for a customer who they knew was already here and waiting, and on top of that, nobody advised me that was the policy so I asked to speak with the manager, who I believe was Michael. After we played out the situation to Michael, he advised that perhaps it would be quicker to cancel my online order by calling customer service then we could try purchasing it in-store. The problem with it was that the charge was already put through and when I cancelled it, my bank wouldnt let me make the purchase as I had passed my limit on expenses and it was a Sunday so no go on calling the bank (credit union) to push this one through. That was pretty much it regarding options at that point. What upset me most was that the manager slipped out and started talking to a friend or fellow associate and left me with the customer service representative who had no clue what other options there may have been or to resolve my issue. The manager demonstrated the absolute worst form of service I have ever faced. The customer service representative offered a business card then realized he didnt have any. Did the manager offer this? No. Did the manager ask if there was anything else he could do? No. I wasnt asking for a discount, nor was I seeking one, but I would expect the manager to at least offer to follow up with me the next business day to see what may have gone wrong or if he could fill my order for me seeing as I continued to try and give him my business even after his staff failed to mention to me that there was no over-ride on the web-fulfillment process and caused me to wait over 3 hours.

UNHELPFUL & DISHONEST The LCD of my iPhone failed yesterday (the screen showed blue & black vertical lines) & I took it to the Apple store to see if they could help. The so-called Geniuses were COMPLETELY unhelpful. They stated that even though the phone showed no signs of damage or miss-use, they could do NOTHING to help me since I had purchased the phone 14 months ago (the warranty expired at 12 months). They stated that since I had password-protected my phone, it was IMPOSSIBLE to retrieve any data that I had not yet backed up. They also stated that the ONLY way to retrieve data that I had already backed up on iTunes was to purchase a new iPhone (which they, of course, offered to sell me). Frustrated, I walked out of the store and happened across a man at a kiosk advertising iPhone repairs. He proceeded to replace my screen/LCD for a FRACTION of the cost of a new phone and had it back to me in perfect working condition in 20 minutes. For years I felt that Apple stood behind their products and were prompt to help if & when their products failed. Today I was sorely disappointed. Instead of offering the very simple & inexpensive fix of replacing the screen/LCD, the Apple Geniuses misdirected me & told me that my ONLY option was to pay them HUNDREDS of dollars for a new phone. Although up until now I have been happy with my iPhone, my next smart-phone will NOT be an iPhone because of todays experience. The extremely poor service and frank dishonesty I experienced today angered me, wasted my time, and tarnished my previously shining opinion of this company. A very disappointed former customer, Keri Sippel

A few things about this particular store... First, Ive been there a few times and never really thought their service was terribly exceptional. Theyre always in a hurry and cannot be bothered to come to you, regardless of how slowly the store is moving. Second, I went there yesterday for an iPhone 5s. I had to use a restroom before getting in line and was told that they had one available in the store. I went over to find that it was occupied. I waited something like five minutes. Someone finally came out and an Apple employee immediately raced past me and into the restroom, even though it was obvious that I was going in. He had seen me waiting before that, as well. I wait ANOTHER five minutes. Eventually this guy comes out in a completely different set of clothing. Apparently he found it an emergency to race in and change so that he could go home at the end of his shift or something. Upon finishing in the restroom, I was told by an employee that they had JUST sold out of the exact iPhone I wanted. I cannot help but wonder if I would have gotten it had a rude employee not raced in ahead of me. Third, I called today to ask about a new shipment. I was told that they had received new phones! Unfortunately, they couldnt tell me if they had the phone I wanted because the people who knew were at the beginning of the customer line. No, the guy answering the phone couldnt walk the 20 yards to where the other employee was... I would have to drive 50 miles to Roseville to find out if they had the phone I wanted. Absolute crap, in my opinion. Lazy and rude employees. Ill just go elsewhere, I guess.

Once a "genius" actually came out and looked at my laptop for an appointment I had made the previous day, things went smoothly and he quickly identified the problem and arranged to have my laptop repaired for what I thought a very reasonable rate. However, the customer service in store before you actually get to see a genius is nuts. When I entered, I walked past 4 employees in red shirts sitting at a table just inside the entrance and they all said hello but none of them asked me if they could help. Walking past a couple more tables full of employees with no interest from them, I finally got to a young lady who came up and asked me what I wanted. I told her I had an appointment and she directed me to a line. I stand in line for 20 minutes watching a single employee checking in customers on an Ipad while meanwhile, all these many other employees (20-25 or so) are sitting around chatting with each other and playing with their phones. There were 3 other customers in the store at the time. Finally, one of the employees who had been sitting at a table gets up with his ipad and begins checking in some of the customers in the line. This Apple store seems to be populated by a bunch of children of post high-school age with no interest in actually DOING anything to earn their pay check. This store could benefit from adult supervision...

Went yesterday to have my broken phone looked at. Ty was amazing, sweet and very helpful. He was able to have the phone looked at instore instead of having to ship out. When we came back for the phone a few hours later we got this incredibly rude old lady with a white mess of hair. I wish I had got her name but she never gave it and I was too busy discussing the damages to look for a name tag. She told me I had to get a new phone because of water damage. Bummer! I told her I would hold off on buying the new phone there and get it through my insurance. She walked off to the back with my phone in hand, comes back 10 minutes later, hands it back and walks away without a word. I wasnt sure if she would return to us or if she was done. Plus I had more questions. So I go to the check in lady to ask if the first associate was finished with us and to let her know we still some things to ask. The check in girl was speaking with another associate. Whatever, theyre working, Ill wait. Both associates would look at me then ignore me. They did this a few times after waiting for sometime. Im a pretty patient person but it was ridiculous how long I waited while these associates were talking. I was over it and we ended up leaving. We were put back by the bad customer service we got. Ill take my stuff elsewhere.
