Ive been to this record store several times and they typically have a good selection of vinyl and cds. They also sell used DVDs and some miscellaneous novelty type items and books. In the past theyve had a good bootleg CD collection, but I havent been here looking for that type of item lately. The staff are often friendly and knowledgeable about the music that they sell. The prices are pretty much on market value so dont expect to find a steal here, but you do need to know your prices.

Unfortunately, I had a HORRIBLE experience at this location. I was looking for a certain record, & when I asked for help to find it, Staff was extremely RUDE and unprofessional, addressing me with profanity because I was asking too many questions. I love the location in Montclair but I WILL NOT be coming back here. I hope that no one else I know has the experience Ive had. Respectfully, Angry customer.

this is the coolest store ever!!!period!!!!..i moved to oregon 16 yrs ago and i still come here every yr i visit,just to see whats new....they allways "with a purchase" give me a sampler of some kind...i have found some of my most favorite music from being turned on by mad platter...hard to find stuff.local music..all style ...right on mad platter ...right on!..

Decent selection. Only slightly more expensive than Amazon. They offer used albums at rates on par with Discogs. I like that you can listen to the used records but the turntable is pathetic and the volume is so low you can hardly hear anything. I resorted to plugging the headphones into my phone and streaming the albums that I was interested in.

Just went into this store today! Ive been wanting to go for a while and decided to go because my boyfriends birthday is coming up. The staff there were so nice to me, and the guy at the counter was very helpful. I ended up finding two gifts and was very pleased. Its safe to say that Ill be coming into this place quite a lot more!

ANTIQUE CYCLES

The GOOD: Totally different selection from last visit 2 months ago. Bought 6 records for under 40 bucks! The BAD: Wasnt greeted the entire 25 minutes we were there. 2 Clerks (male/female) are very shy/introverted and dont make eye contact or say much even at check out. (Not good for retail)

Surprisingly one of the few music shops that has endured over the last ten years! Ive been comming here since Pops Music and Sounds Like... in Riverside closed down. Great atmosphere and selection! I recommend any music aficionado to visit! They buy and sell used cds, movies and vinyl

LOVE THIS PLACE ! WENT TO GROOVERS FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND THIS PLACE HAS TWICE THE SELECTION i COULD GO ON AND ON. THE STAFF IS SUPER FRIENDLY. ONE GENTLEMAN TOOK THE TIME OUT TO HELP ME LOOK. THEY HAVE A HUGE SELECTION OF VINYL AND I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK AND CHECK OUT SOME MORE.

Great selection of New Vinyl, average pricing, limited selection of Used Vinyl, but the staff was really helpful and knowledgeable about the music I was looking for. Lacked Classical or Score Vinyl but otherwise, a great place to grab New records that are usually hard to come by.

An oasis in the record store desert! This is a great place to visit in Riverside. They have a solid selection. I picked up the Hendrixs mono remasters there a few years ago when they were hard to get and was glad to find them!

Place sucked advertised a 10am opening and it is 1030 and no one home! I could possibly give it more stars but they would actually have to be open to do that. Dont waste your time with this place.

Great deals on used movies... The music that was being played was almost enough to make me leave.
