I am very unhappy with the negligence of the employees and this particular store! My brother went in there today to buy a puppie but decided not to but the store employee still proceeded to take $1400 off of his card!! Luckily he caught it soon after but the store was closed already. So we have every intention of being there in the morning when they open to get this situation handled but if we have any problem what so ever in doing this, I will have no problem contacting the better business bureau of slo county and our city council so that they can inform other good citzens around here & law abiding tax payers, and especially the tourists of how this store handled themselves over one of their own mistakes! Hopefully there will be no problem and he can get his money put back on his card and that will be it! But if not I will not just keep quite about this, cause were not talking about $20-$40 dollars!!!

I would recommend that nobody purchase a puppy from this store. I purchased my yellow labrador retriever from this store five years ago and she has had an assortment of health issues on top of extremely high levels of anxiety. On the paperwork that the store provided me during purchase, it says she came from a supplier in Missouri named the Hunte Corporation. I later found out that the Hunte Corporation is a puppy mill -- "Puppy mills, loosely defined, are breeders who regularly supply dogs to laboratories, animal brokers or pet shops." This particular puppy mill is the largest puppy broker in the U.S. I love my dog and would never regret having her in my life. I do however regret supporting this puppy mill entity. I recommend that if you want to buy a puppy, contact a local breeder, otherwise adopt from your local shelter.

I felt the need to set the record straight on this pet store. I have purchased 2 dogs from them over the past 8 years. A pug and a Domerman. Both are in perfect health. The pug is the most healtiest best looking (not over weight) pug I have ever seen (and my vet has ever seen). She is now 8 years old and has never had a single health issue. She was papered and DID NOT come from a puppy mill. The Doberman is now 2 years old and is in perfect health. He came from a breeder in Wasco (not a Puppy Mill!!) and is the best dog I have ever had. I highly recommend this store to anyone and would be confident in their puppy selection. Sounds to me like the peopl complaining might be their competition down there since this store dominants the pet store market in Pismo. Keep up the great work!

Animal Kingdom sells commercially bred animals and isnt transparent about where they come from. Never buy from a pet store, always adopt or go through a reputable breeder. Reputable breeders would never sell to a pet store!

Dont go in unless you want to leave your heart behind with all the puppies. We just brought home a little female Australian from there a couple weeks ago. Pricy, but good dogs...

Puppies in display dont look like they are well cared for. They are very shady about the source of the dogs.
