Bought compressor for our business and was told that I needed extended warranty. In less than 4 months compressor does not work and we just found out that because its for commercial use, the warranty does not apply. 1. At no time did the salesperson tell us warranty does not cover commercial use even though he knew it was for shop. 2. At no time did salesman indicate that there was no point buying extended warranty since this was for commercial use. 3. At to time "PRIOR" to buying this compressor was I advised or had to initial that warranty did not apply if for commercial use. 4. The only mention of the warrant is in the handbook that comes with the compressor "after you buy it, unload it and take out the handbook." Unacceptable. Going to take them to Consumer Affairs and anywhere else. If warranty is not valid for commercial use, then it needed to be disclosed prior to purchase and acknowledged in writing if we bought it anyway. This is not a case of let the buyer beware....this is a case of the company misleading consumers and then it becomes our problem. Now we have an $1100 non-functional compressor with a warranty that is useless. Warranty is not the problem-its Sears not telling us until after we bought it.

I bought a pair of caterpillar work boots, wear them now and then not everyday, soles came unglued and I took them back for warranty 140.00 dollar boots, was told that they are over 30 days old and not store policy to replace them, asked for a manager and it got worse from there. I tried to be calm and reasonable but it got me know where with the young managers. After arguing for awhile , I grabbed my boots and walked out and I will never return to this store for anything. I have bought all my personnel tools as well as company tools here, I was a loyal customer, I understand policy as I work in the hospitality industry. every once in awhile you have to give a little to keep business, as we say( give em the pickle). I had to pick a star to post this otherwise they would not have got one

I bought my refrigerator here and its been working great. It was good to get this refrigerator cuz I got it when they had one of their big sales and it was like half off. I can see the where this chain of stores called series will be probably going out of business soon because theres almost nobody there.

As Sears stores go, this one is one of the better ones. Staff in the appliance and electronics sections are friendly. The clothing is well stocked. Taking off a star because the check out line is usually very slow.
