I had the pleasure of working with Devin Strange and what a person. He knows every motorcycle in the store like his own child. I went there with the mind that I am going to test drive and possibly buy the C650GT maxi scooter ( coming from Yamaha t-max and Honda Silver wing) I though this was my natural choice and boy was I wrong. Now, dont get me wrong, I loved the 650GT scooter, very comfortable and Devin knew my background coming from scooters and so he understood where I was coming from. After test riding it, he asked me: what I was looking for ??? well I thought it was a scooter... but then he said what is important to you? what are you looking for in a ride? The top two-three reasons are: 1 Comfort, 2 MPG, and.... 3 Power. Well after summarizing all the components and what kind of commute I was going to do he suggested three motorcycles for me to test: F700 GS, R1200GS and I requested the R1200 GT. Wowww... I thought I was a "scooter" guy because of the fuel efficiency and comfort of ride BUT was I wrong!!! After I test ride the F700 GS I came back to the dealership and I couldnt stop smiling, it was like the missing part of the puzzle that made sense for me I was soo happy, I test drove the 1200GS and Whowwww it was even better , then the 1200 RT gave me the complete perspective of the BMW line and what my needs are. I am so thankful that Devin took the time to educate me on all the features and differences between the different bikes, about what is right for my size (64"). Long story short, I wasnt pressure to buy anything, just being educated by the best in the business about what is right and safe for me, not what they want to sell me or what is most expensive. He was incredible and trust me if you stop by this dealership, you would be amazed by the level of expertise and personal approach toward every customer. I ended not buying a bike right then because my wife would of probably left me, but I am definitely coming back to buy my bike from there.... still havent decided should I go with the F700GS which puts smile on my face as I am writing, or should I go with the 12000GS which is a remarkable piece of art. Ohhh and I am sorry but I realize what I was missing by not riding a motorcycle, I still love scooters but my heart is on motorcycles. Devin is someone who is going to give you the right guidance, but he will leave you alone to make the right choice for yourself...

I wanted to write you to let you know how pleased I am with the recent purchase of my used 2006 R1200GSA. I am from Austin, TX and was able to find this nice used GSA online. There arent many used 2006 and newer R1200GSAs available in the US, and those that are for sale are usually priced over $15k and they usually sell very quickly. I called and spoke to Brian as soon as I saw it on Cycletrader (Id been checking daily). He took the time to explain the condition the bike in great detail and I was sold instantly especially since the price was exactly within my budget. Bear in mind that this was a used bike with 92K miles and you open yourself up to many potential problems of which I was fully aware of. My previous bike was a 2002 R1150GS and I’m fully aware of what these bikes are capable of. I was a little apprehensive but after meeting Brian and seeing my new bike, I knew then and there that I had made an excellent purchase. Brian assured me of the condition and road worthiness of this bike and that the bike was ready for anything I would throw at it. All my concerns were met, and the 1500 miles ride back home on this bike was amazing and perfect with no issues what so ever. NONE at all, in fact I deviated a little from path to Austin and rode up north through NM for a more scenic route home. Brian was really cool and showed me the store master piece, a Museum of BMW bikes. I look forward to riding again to his store just to take a better look at those awesome bikes they have. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciated the tour and the easy process. IRV Seaver gets a gold star in my book. Mr. Bell Sr. was also great in setting me up with making sure everything went smoothly. He was very personable and thorough. I really wish I could remember the cool guys name that helped me with an accessory I was looking for. Thank you. IRV Seaver BMW really connects with their customers. Every rider that came in while I was in the shop seemed genuinely pleased to be doing business there. Plenty of smiles and laughs. I am now the proud owner of my second GSA and will be using IRV Seaver as my point of contact for my next Beemer in about 4 years again or so. Thank you all for such a pleasant experience. You will definitely be seeing me in the shop again when the time comes, and I will recommend Irv Seaver every chance I get.

When Shopping for a BMW, most customers find themselves shopping for the dealer they can trust for parts, service, and finance. Everyone says they are committed to you, but talk is cheap. Irv employees are the most loyal of any dealership I have ever seen, mechanics, parts, sales staff have been there for decades. That says alot about thier mnagement. Fishing for a negative, I will say that they may not like you much if you treat them like a typical cycle place. After all this IS a BMW , and they are a little bit what you might expect in a BMW only showroom. That might put you off for a moment. However, you wont get a pitch in favor of the cycle they want to move... and if you want something, that comes to the front of the showroom before you arrive. I agree with the one negative reviewer, the owner and his son arent exactly name savvy. That doesnt bother me, I got thier names wrong twice also. A few possible sales numbers were "forgotten" but I didnt feel "reeled in" , and what they offered was close. ALL IN ALL we spent way more time in a long term bike investment, which is one reason I wanted a BMW... I arrived late - they stayed open.. I needed parts and extras, that department stayed open also ... no rush, 4 people worked 4 HOURS as I haggeled over a bike that was end of year sales and much lower commision, with not alot of overtime worthyness. Evane when I wanted a helmet on sale.. they pulled the padding, fitted the top, then chose and fitted the proper cheek padding, and made a custom fit... Every number on the final paperwork was no suprise at all ( except a prep fee for registration $ 40 bucks I think ) . No Dealer Prep, No Pre Sales Service, No nothing .. the EXACT out the door price was what I got. And that "extra warranty" etc stuff.. "Dont worry, take a month and look into it then decide". In addition, I get a loaner bike when mine comes in for service.. the service rates are fair... I know exactly when they must be done.. The misery of financing, choosing, haggling, and dealing with many places ended in a perfect bike, A place I trust, and a big smile. Now if you will excuse me, I have some riding to do.
