What a difference a day makes! I had fantastic customer service on the phone and in the store when Jo Jo helped me. He was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. He helped me select the right rear tire for my bike and gave me all the details and options about the costs. I received the courtesy call that he promised around 11:30 am. Unfortunately for me he does not work seven days a week and when I returned to pick up my tire around 4:00 pm my dissatisfaction with their service began. I waited for my turn to be service for over five minutes. I was not greeted or acknowledge at all. I informed the counter person that I was there to pick up my rear tire and I also had my front tire with me to be mounted. After several attempts to explain my needs to the employee I was so frustrated that I had to ask him if English was his second language. I was informed that my tire was right there by the counter and I could just take it. I then told him that that was my front tire I and was leaving it I still needed the rear tire I was picking up. He finally returned my tire and checked in the new tire. He then informed me that they would not have it done by the end of the day or even the next day because they were short handed. I then returned around 6:00 pm on the third day to find the same counterman and as you might have guessed my tire was not ready. I asked him if it would by done by the next day and he told me I was first on the list and it should by done by noon. I did not receive a courtesy call as of 4:30 pm so I decide to call ahead and this time and a different counterperson answered the phone and offered to check on my tire for me. She told me it was being done now and should be done in 15 minutes. So I am off to hopefully get my tire back. After that I will not be going back for any service even if Jo Jo is there.

Worst experience I have ever had with a motorcycle store. Went in beginning of June to buy 2 helmets advertised on sale. The store DOES NOT KEEP ANY INVENTORY except what is on the shelf so since they did not have the size I needed, they had to order them. It took only 4 days for the helmets to be delivered and when I went to pick them up, to my surprise, they ordered the WRONG color! So now I had to wait another week for the correct color to arrive. 2 weeks later I finally get the helmets and the guy in the store takes it upon himself to throw away the protective cover. I paid a lot of money for the helmets and I would like to have them in the state they come from the factory with the protective cover. From now on we start paying a game of cat and mouse asking them to get me a cover from another helmet... Meantime, we start using them and shortly I discover the helmets are poor quality with the Bluetooth system not holding charge on one of the 2 helmets. I go back to the store (my 7-th trip) and ask to have it replaced. They place another order and 2 weeks later I STILL DO NOT HAVE A HELMET! Finally after I call the main office, they decide to "store transfer" a helmet and I get another display helmet with NO COVER as well !!!! So, hundreds of dollars later, I AM STUCK with some LOW QUALITY helmets that I CAN NOT RETURN, with "used" items sold AS NEW, with no helmet cover and a very sad experience with this store .... Buyer BEWARE !!!!! On the positive side, they do hire young, energetic and courteous kids to handle the stores... Too bad that our hundreds of dollars DO NOT PROVIDE quality merchandise....

I spoke to an employee by the name of Eric and I received horrible customer service. I am a first time rider and I was attempting to purchase a windshield. I was asking about a specific windshield I had found on the internet and Cycle Gear was an authorized dealer. He replied, "they have not sent me nothing, for the past couple of year." I said, "okay, can you help me find a windshield that would work for me." He replied, "what do you want." I re-emphasized that I was a first time rider and needed some help in assessing what I needed. He became really bothered and told me, "for time sake, why dont you just come down and look through our catalogs, we have 25." I told him, "for time sake, it would be more appropriate for you as the expert to ask me some question, so we can narrow my need down and since you know the 25 catalogs better than me, you can then recommend something." At this time, he attempted to belittle me in my opinion by "machine gunning" questions at me before I had a chance to respond: ex: "you want a big, small, wide, tinted, non-tinted, clear, etc." at this time, I was through with ever shopping at this store again. I asked him if he was the Manager and he quickly responded that he was not and freely gave up his name, his managers name and the time he would be available to speak with me the following day, leading me to believe that either 1) he does not care about his job; or 2) the Manager is probably his buddy and he does not fear reprimand. Therefore, his leads me to believe that other employees might exhibit the same demeanor, the problem may lay at the top.

I have liked this store up until today.... the service has never been great but helpful enough that i could come in brows for a while ask a question or to and get what i need. Lately however the store has not been so great and today broke the camels back. I went in with a pocket full of new $100 bills ready to buy a new helmet for myself and my girlfriend, a new jacket and some things for my bike. i specifically wanted to try on the Corsair V for myself. So I get there and the store is empty. Only one sales guy, witch is normal here i guess. i go in and they only have 2 LG Arai helmets ( in the whole line) and they were not the ones i had any interest in. So i start trying on other helmets myself. pretty soon there are a few more people in the store and the sales guy is busy with someone else. i ask for help several times and dont receive. after 45 min of being ignored i walked out and wont be coming back.

This is the place that my MSF instructor suggested I visit when I told him I was looking for motorcycle gear. When I walked in I was amazed. On the are displays of helmets from a variety of manufacturers (Shoei, Arai, KBC are the brands I can remember off the top of my head), jackets, gloves, pants, casual clothes, parts, and accessories. Make sure you look around for items carrying a large red sticker. These are items that for some reason, have been marked as clearance (reasons usually include defect, or custom-ordered for a customer, but they didnt buy). Its an automatic 20% off, but after 2 months, it becomes 40%, and after 4, 60%. I got a spectra gold visor for my RF-1000 for $25, and a pair of Dainese SF non-perfed pants for $200. It was a STEAL.
