I had a $5 coupon that came in my mailbox on March 30th and expired on April 4th. The coupon had no beginning date printed on it but stated now til april 4th. When I showed the female cashier in her 40s she automatically said the coupon didnt start until April 1st for an April sale which started the next morning. I showed her it didnt state that but she knew it all and wouldnt accept it. She acted like she read it and said it starts tomorrow do you want your stuff? So I left my items on the counter approximately $30-$40 and went up to Big B Lumber up the road which had an Ace Hardware family sign on window.I picked up my items and put them up on the counter and asked the guy if they accepted Ace Hardware coupons and he said no but he would give me a discount anyways equal to or better than the coupon. Thats customer service. I spent $56 and he gave me 10% off or $5.60 off. After I left I called ACEs corporate and they stated the coupon was good from when I received it until Monday because it was attached to a weekend sale that had already started. They apologized and told me each Ace is individually owned and said the cashier should of read the ad and if they did would of known it wasnt the April ad that wasnt out yet. I have never had a problem there before this but it was a waste of time and gas and she didnt do her job. I have going to ACE since 1995 when they were at the Kragen location but will only go back in an emergency.

I actually made a special trip here to buy a top of the line ironing board! I couldnt find one anywhere else! Its something I will always have and worth the $$. Of course I bought the new pad and a smaller sleeve one as well! Its the little things peeps, the little things that make me happy! This is an upscale Ace. It has its own Carhartt section. Ive never seen one before. They also carry high end dog food and nicer fixtures. Its very clean and every aisle is perfect! Coming from a person with OCD thats a compliment! Nothing is out of place which gives me peace! They give popcorn in cute little bags on your way out. They definitely go the extra mile to make you feel good. Their customer service is on point. Im always asked if I need assistance. Friendly smiles and overall a pleasant store to shop in.

I was going to purchase a tool that was labeled $99.99. when I brought it to the register it rang up at $119.99, instead of giving the advertised price the sales associate argued with me that it was just priced wrong. After a couple of minutes of this I decide to not give the store my buisness. Once outside I think of taking a picture of the 99.99 price tag on the display. I head back in passing the associate with no further discussion and find they covered the price with another sticker aleady. I see the associate again on my way out and comment on them instantly changing the price and then she mentions that she would have given me the lower advertised price. At this point I am done on principle. I shouldnt have had to have such an argument in the first place. I will never give this store my buisness again

i dont see the store hours... Its very important for your customers to be able to see when they can come, otherwise they may go to a store they are more familiar with, instead of calling (maybe you wont be there) or driving (gas $$$) Perhaps they need to plan. Today i went to need to Post Office (around the corner) and want to go to Ace on my way back.. can i plan? when are you open.. I looked at a few places on the site, I cant find easily. thanks, karin

I needed kitchen sink stuff, and a gentleman helped me the whole way, and literally explained everything to me on what I needed and how to replace 25 year old kitchen sink leaky faucet. He had grey/silver hair, tall and just amazing. Sorry I forgot his name.

They are liquidating the store now, to make way for their new store in 2014. So everything is on sale, and their store hours are 9am to 6pm 7 days a week. They may not have what you are looking for, but have 1,000s of great bargains.

The staff here are very helpful. It is a small location though. So unless youre looking for fairly common hardware items youre better off going elsewhere.
