worst service I ever had. Went in two weeks ago and purchased a netgear ac1600 and when the signal on the router started fading I took it in to exchange or a better router. the employee accused me of destroying the router and telling me that he will "exchange it jus this once this time but I will be banned from exchanging anything else ever again" I seriously thought I was being pranked but he was dead serious. after explaining to the employee that i did not break it and all I want to do is exchange it if I may please speak to a manager. he sucked his lips and rolled his eyes and told me I had to wait for a while. After waiting 7 minutes the manager asked fory receipt and I had told her that i misplaced the receipt. from there it got worse now the manager is telling me shes done all she can and that she was done with our conversation and she will wait there all night if she has to jus to prove a point. this store is a complete joke and I reccomend going somewhere else

Melanie at the cellular department is by far the worst representative ever. I walked thru the front entrance and the best buy clerk nodded at me like I was his homeboy. Then, after waiting 20 minutes I ask the rep if she can show me the IPHONE 4. She showed me the display model, which had no battery life so i had to wait an extra 10 minutes to play with it. Other reps kept interrupting me by asking her questions and instead of excusing herself she would in turn ignore me. She did not explain my first bill at all. DIDNT EVEN MENTION IT. luckily i know my first bill is always pro rated. She made fun of some poor guy who had been waiting all day to talk to a manager for an interview. She said someone like that shouldnt deserve a job if he was going to let some manager make him wait for hours on end. I wanted to return my phones there and then but becuase i wanted to leave so bad, i dealt with her annoying comments.

I called before heading into the Geek Squad, asking if they could just look over my laptops charging port to see if whether it stopped working or if its just the ac adapter that stopped working. The person on the phone was very sweet, telling me they could check it out with one of their own ac adapters. I got in, waited a while, and finally had an unenthusiastic man help me out. He said that in order to check the laptop, I would have to buy a $100 universal adapter to use it as a check. Then he walks away without saying a word, leaving me confused. He returns with a universal adapter, and attempts to look for the right sized tip, which I noticed may have been thrown back into its pouch, and was told that none would work for it. He didnt seem to care, and looked at my laptop as if it were insignificant. I definitely will not be visiting the Geek Squad ever again after that experience.

At the register we were asked "did you find everything youre looking for"? We stated that we were looking for the X-Files season 8. We were told it was too old of a show therefore Best Buy doesnt carry it. We were looking at the Honeymooners in the rack at the register when the cashier made that statement. We had purchased other X-Files seasons from that same store the month prior. The cashier wasnt courteous to us when talking to us. There was no effort made to order what we were looking for or have it shipped from another store. When I left the register I felt like 36 is just too old for Best Buy. Its not what you say its how you say it.

Ive purchased a wireless xbox controller compatible with PC, it came with a 2006 version of Xbox accessories. Far too old for my operating system. I called geek squad before I knew what was wrong, they were only semi-helpful. I deleted loads of my games because they said it could be too much storage space. Which, come to find out, this isnt true. Now I have to return this CD with my product, and theyre going to exchange for a new package. Since they couldnt just give me another CD. I just hope the next package wont be incompatible. Oh, and if i decide to go somewhere else for my controller, I have to pay them 15% of the original price. Yep.

Sold me 1600. Worth of incompatible equipment. Geek squad jimmy rigged installation. Taping wires to furniture. Suppose to be back at 9 am today with compatible sound bar and a TV that works. 1 in afternoon and still waiting for them. About ready to rip it out my wall and drop it on their door step. Will never ever do any business with them again. They say my return appointment was penciled in. The appt was made on the 14th during first try on installation. Purchase was made on the 4th. Its now the 24th of April. Have gotten nothing but a run around. Contacted corporate office and was redirected to the store.

Several purchases during the last 18 months - always find the best price, and the sales associates even check online and price match saving me time. 6 months ago the associate showed me a product that he could price match for me - that was $400 over the limit I told him I was looking at. He showed me by going up - he could price match the item, and I was saving close to $700 - so I was getting a much better, higher quality product for the money. We have been extremely happy with the purchase and returned to make another appliance purchase, and again found the best price for the money. Erik - Modesto CA

Horrible warranty very disappointed with best buy!! I bought a tv less than a year a go and I paid an extra $200 for extended warranty. I was watching my tv and it started showing horizontal lines on it. I touched the screen and now it shows vertical lines also. Geek squad and best buy are calling it impact damage and will not cover it. They said the best they can do is sell me a new one for $700. I recommend you do not buy from best buy and shop somewhere else!!! If you have to shop at best buy do not pay extra for any warranty it is USELESS!! VERY DISSATISFIED with BEST BUY $1200 WASTED!!

The computer department has a awesome stafff capable of handling anybody. Trust me, they handled me, and as they provided me with exceptionally good service on two separate days, I commend them. In fear that you might ask for the manager by giving you the name I will just save it this staff is assisted by a great manager staff I will shop there again for another computer here shortly. Thank you Best Buy off of Sisk Road hands down you are the best Best Buy in town. Just want to make a note I live off of Floyd close to the riverbank store and will always go to Sisk Road.

I had a remote start and iPod controller installed into my 05 Tahoe. I spoke with Scott in the Audio/Installation bay in the back. He quote me prices and ALL that would be required for the installation and usage of both products. He knows his profession very well, so much so that Im writing this review for great service for him and Best Buy. If you speak with him have some patience as he is in high demand, but it will be worth it as both items work as promised the 1st time!!
