I frequent Healthy Spot for a number of reasons: Their doggy daycare, dog food selection, and grooming. Ive had experiences with many doggy daycare places, and this is one of the few places my pup doesnt seem to dread getting dropped off. Truthfully, one of the main reasons I chose Healthy Spot is because of the real grass they have inside the daycare area. When I first started dropping him off there, he was only at 75% on potty training so having a room with grass that other dogs were also using was a big plus - not to mention the help he got with socialization. I also like that they give me a little report card of how he did all day, and the short walks they take him on during the day so hes not cooped up in that same room for several hours. All in all, Ive been really happy with the service theyve provided. Of course, it isnt cheap. ...but, from time to time, Im willing to fork over the money so he can play with other pups his size in a safe and transparent environment. He doesnt really like dog parks - so this is the best solution Ive found. In any case, its also convenient if he needs to get groomed as theres a grooming facility inside the store that does a really nice job. Also a little pricey, but :shrug: I guess thats the price for convenience. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is considering it. I only took off a star, because I do find that its very (very) expensive.

I love the store.. They have a lot of products and various brands. Extremely clean. The grooming services are very high in price compared to a few other places Ive been too. For a bath and nail trim it was $50. Haircuts and bath are $75 with an extra $10 for nails. I have my used thier day care, its actually pretty adorable but the people in the daycare dont interact with the dogs, they talk to each other and dont seem to notice what is going on. For example when I was there a dog was facing a corner shaking, it wasnt until I pointed him out that the girl got him to come out. A couple hours later, I came back in and he was by himself shaking from being so scared. And the employees were just talking with eachother. It was so sad to see.

After trying many other groomers in area, we finally found Steve at Healthy Spot. He has done such an incredible job making sure our dog looks his handsomest. Not only is Steve incredibly skilled at his craft, but he is also so kind and wonderful to work with. So receptive to our requests and understanding of our dogs nervousness. im always a fan of pet stores that try to offer healthy, life-improving foods and pet products, and the healthy spot does just that! we also take our boxer/pitbull mix for his nail trimmings and he always walks away happy. good staff that seems to care as well!

People who work there are actually love dogs which is rare these days with dog care places. My pup is always happy getting walks and bubble bath there. Dog day care has a really friendly environment, I feel safe leaving my pup here. thank yoU!
