I purchased three leather reclining sofas for $6100. The sofas I got are defective, and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. In fact my family and I cant seat on them for more than 10 minutes. My back and neck hurts so much because there is no lumbar support on the back the seat sinks in and feels like Im in a deep hole. I tried to return them one day after delivery and the sales manager and supervisor were completely hostile towards me. The salesman and sales manager had falsely advertised about the sales terms. Before purchasing the furniture, I had asked that if there was anything wrong with the furniture if it would be possible to return it, and they said absolutely. The sales manager said you could cancel the order and you would receive a full refund; however that turned out to be false. My disappointment is profound with this horrible furniture, making me regret ever purchasing from this establishment. I’ve never previously had a problem with furniture retailers before, and I am utterly outraged at the loss of my HARD EARNED MONEY and that I’m currently marooned with this useless, shoddy, and rather expensive pieces of furniture. YOUR ESTABLISHMENT DID NOT HONOR THEIR APPARENTLY GUARANTEED SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS, ASHLEY’S FURNITURE SALES REPRESENTATIVES LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THAT THEY OFFER FOR SALE. THEY DO NOT PERMIT YOU TO READ THE FINE PRINT THAT LIES IN THE TERMS, HINDERING ME FROM POSSIBLY RETHINKING MY DECISION. THEIR CONSTANT DETTERENCE FROM READING THE DOCUMENTS CONCERNING MY PURCHASE SEEMED SUSPICIOUS TO ME, AS IF THERE WAS SOMETHING HIDDEN FROM MY KNOWLEDGE. I ASKED THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, AN OLDER GENTLEMEN KNOWN BY THE NAME OF SIMON, “ WHAT AM I SIGNING?” HE SIMPLY REPLIED,“ THIS IS ONLY SAYING THAT YOUR ORDER WILL BE DELIVERED IN TWO WEEKS.”HE FAILED TO MENTION TO ME THAT THE FURNITURE WOULD BE A FINAL SALE, WITH NO RETURN ALLOWED AFTER DELIVERY, EVEN WITH MY RECEIPT OF PURCHASE CLEARLY STATING THAT I COULD RECEIVE A FULL REFUND AS LONG AS THE FURNITURE IN QUESTION WAS NOT DAMAGED OR A CLOSEOUT, AND WAS RETURNED WITHIN 15 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER DELIVERY.THIS DEEPLY TROUBLES ME, AS I USUALLY WOULD EXPECT HONEST PROMISES FROM SUCH A WELL KNOWN FURNITURE RETAILING ESTABLISHMENT. IT WAS A LACK-LUSTER EXPERIENCE WITH INADEQUATE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONEST MEANS OF SELLING. I WILL MOST LIKELY REFRAIN FROM PURCHASING FROM ANY OF YOUR ESTABLISHMENTS EVER AGAIN.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Im hoping to save all future furniture buyers a hassle by advising you that this is not the store you want to purchase your furniture from. I purchased couches on April 1st and was told that my couches would be delivered on April 10th. Today is April 7th and I got a phone call that my couches have been delayed and the new ETA is mid MAY!!!!! Im banking on my couches to be there when I needed them so I decided to cancel my order. I have in the last 2 hours called 4 times to try and speak with a manager so that I can get an email or a fax in writing that I can proceed with cancelling my order. Im being told that hes not available every time and that I need to come down to the store to cancel my order. I work in special order retail, theres no need to have a customer come all the way down to my shop in order for them to cancel their order. As long as there is something in writing that should be sufficient to get an order cancelled. I have been unable to get a hold of anyone who will simply send me a fax or an email confirming that I want to cancel my order. I work 1 hour away from the store, my Father paid for the couches on his Visa for the points and he works on the opposite end of town. Not to mention I signed the lease and got all my utilities turned on at my new place banking on my couches which I intend to sleep on until I can afford a bed and now I have to figure out where my kid and I are going to sleep because we are stuck with the move in date this weekend. What if I cant make it today, what if tomorrow Im being told its too late and that I could only cancel it yesterday? I need some proof Im cancelling my order today and I am being refused that courtesy. Check out other reviews all over the internet, I AM NOT ALONE!!!! Please dont make the same mistake I did by choosing Ashley Furniture for your furniture needs.

We came here for a set of couches and were promptly helped as soon as we walked in the door. We have a 1 year old that is very active and I let her walk around the store (it wasnt very busy) and the salesman had no problem with it. I was right behind her the whole time of course. After finding a few couches that we liked and were in our budget, we informed the salesman that we had to go home to measure the space for them and would come back another day. He had no problem with it and wrote down the sizes and model numbers of the ones we liked. We eventually went back a few days and took the ones that fit the best, fortunately they happened to be the ones on sale. They were delivered 2 days later and we are Happy with them so far.

HORRENDOUS! The sales man ordered the wrong couch for us, then we only got 2/3rds of that wrong 3 piece sectional because they broke the chase in the warehouse. After that i called to get the correct couch and they argued and fought with me about getting the situation fixed. I had to wait even longer to finally get the couch we ordered with the chase on the correct side and apparently pewter (gray) is really dark green. Ashley Furniture was terrible on every aspect that we experienced with them. I will always recommend to everyone that i know and tell them to go somewhere else. Just plain awful.

I had a very awful experience one of the worst stores I opened a line of credit with. I regret the day I decided to pick this horrible store to buy my orthopedic bed for $3,500, I literally slept on it for one night only and the store manager told me there was no way I could exchange it for another bed in a very uneducated manner he told me I had to keep the bed by force, now I am stuck with a bed I hate, please to all the people that are reading this negative review do not buy anything on credit..scratch that do not buy anything at all from this awful store before reading the store policies.

When I first walked into the store , I was greeted by Johnny. He gave me space to walk around and finally asked me if I needed help. Told him that I was here to look at some end tables. He was willing to match the old sale price and then told me about the delivery fee. I said that it was a little hit and he walked away never to return again. I walked the whole store and even checked on my credit amount. Several people smiled or said hi but no one offered to help me until Rhina said she noticed that I had been walking around. Needless to say she got the sale.

Prissy and Victor are fantastic they helped me put things together. I always get my furniture from them for the quality of product and service ... this time got living room pieces and our girl Prissy at the downtown store gave us a superior service and was very professional and personable . I can say he went above and beyond his duty to accommodate us and make us a deal .. Victor the manager also was great and helped out without hesitation and was very professional and personable as well ... proud to say this is my home store ..keep it up guys
