Nice newish architecture and buildings, good design for the waking shopper, with permanent boardwalk vendor stands/kiosks. The problem is that although its stylized as a foot traffic friendly outdoor mall complex, the two main anchors (Wal-Mart and Fresh& Easy) have vacated, leaving large empty hulks that accent the aura of a modernist ghost town. There is a huge, brand new, super duper discount grocery market with fantastic prices on one side of the Blvd, and the Metro Blue Line train stops right there every few minutes, along with ample parking in an almost vacant parking structure. I certainly wouldnt recommend this as the casual shopping/strolling destination that it was designed to be, as even the Starbucks there hasnt the amenities for a good sit down, but there are a couple of cell phone stores, a Subway sandwich restaurant, and a coupler of other Ma & Pa fast food establishments. Its like a destination that died on the vine, resembling what it was supposed to be. I give this a rating of... Two sloops: ⛵⛵ .

While it used to be pretty convenient to have a store like Walmart there, it also brought out all the trashy peeps. Sorry not sorry. Business must be much slower for the other shops now. I know I go less often, mainly when I need some beauty products from Sallys or something from Ross. Big 5 also has good deals. The Farmers Market on Fridays is nice if you dont work on Fridays, because it closes around 3.

Walking through this place was like walking through a ghost town. The Ross was the highlight of the area. Evidently there used to be a Walmart and a Nordstrom Rack; however, those stores are no longer there. This shopping center wasnt worth the walk from our hotel for shopping. I would consider more of a restaurant/fitness district. There were several gyms and restaurants.

CITY PLACE SHOPPING CENTER IS NOT A SINGLE BUILDING... IT CONSISTS OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT STREETS THAT CROSS EACH OTHER AND MANY DIFFERENT BUSINESSES. FOR EXAMPLE ;SALLYS BEAUTY SUPPLY, SUBWAY, DANIELS JEWELERS, ROSS, BIG FIVE SPORTING GOODS, AND CHUCK E-CHEESE... AND THERE ARE MORE SHOPS, STORES AND LITTLE PLACES TO EAT... OH, AND CVS PHARMACY, AND "EL SUPER" GROCERY STORE

Clean, large, and a robust selection of stores. The Movie theater is nice. Water fountain in front and a fire place on the side with chairs to relax in. Food courts all over the place. I head to Barnes and Noble mostly every weekend to fill my addictions of mangas and books I want. Unfortunately, no video game store like gamestop around.

Good restaurants, exciting bars, tons of different shopping places, and even a stage for live music and bands to play. Went to the Taverna Opa first, it was a great way to start the evening. I recall ording the Pecan Crusted Snapper at Legal Seafoods and wow was it good!

This shopping center has a Big 5, Ross, Pizza, Poke, Indian, Converse store and even Chuck E Cheese. There is a farmers market every Friday so check that out. I work in LBC so I hit this place up daily some weeks.

I walked around this place in the afternoon I was surprised to see so many delinquent and so many bums around but they keep to them selves. A true testament of the economy. Its still pretty nice place to visit.

There are so many stores to satisfy my shopping itch. You can also find fast food places in case you get hungry while doing all of that shopping. Two of my favorite stores are Fashion Girl and Jewelry Girl.

Always love the outdoor shopping, Fridays Farmers Market. I do miss the Nordstrom Rack that used to be there and the Walmart. They are upgrading this area and I am curious as to the finish.

You can come shop here. Clean and Safe. They have a farmers market here on Fridays. They have Subway,Panda Express, Chuck E Cheese, Ross, and GNC, Tmobile store and more.
