I called them at 9pm (closing time) with a simple question about a specific item. It was answered promptly and with full competency unlike the other 4 sporting goods stores I called before hand. I was not put on hold for 10 minutes to be hung up on and believe it or not, they were happy to help. I will be in tomorrow to buy the item. Solid customer service. This is the way businesses should operate. Take notes Dana Point.

Today I had the worst experience ever in Big 5, as I was looking for camp stuff, and I asked for help, a blonde guy was rude and careless, and the girl on the cashier was wrong with the price and she treated me in a way as if I am the one who made the mistake.. It was so obvious that they are racist against Muslims.. Last time to buy anything from this place.

Cody and Stephanie were very friendly and polite, answered all of our questions. I dont think Ive had better customer service experience than this, they make me want to come back. Recommended items that were either better for the price or highly from others. Overall I am very happy with my purchase of work shoes that I needed.

OMG that place has no idea how to handle weapons should not be handling firearms without being trained someones going to get hurt you dont hand someone a firearm not checking if its on safety or anything and pointed at the person as youre handing it to him

There are always deals in this store. Good place for bargain athletic shoes. They have a good selection of tennis clothes and gear. This is the cheapest place to buy Dunlop tennis balls. They ask for a photo ID when using a credit card, which I like.

The sign on the door says open 9am on Wednesday. Knocked on the lock door at 9:10am. A worker said they dont open till 10am.
