Ok....so I read the reviews after the third time in over two years. I went in today to have a paddle and crank arm put on, back tire truer and a new chain put on....all things needed I bought there three weeks earlier. I walked in with my bike, up to the counter and said "hello guys"......."hi" the tech said very softly like I was bugging him....and yes I said guys, case there was two guys....nothing out of the other dude...I put all my parts on the counter and asked if they had time to do everything today....the tech said "yeah"...still working and me at the counter....I asked " why my paddle would not tread on the crank arm" as Im trying to show him....now the tech is at the counter....he said " just leave it and I get it, dont worry"....I said "great....but can u show me please....its been bugging me for two weeks, cause I tried and tried"...."dont worry I got it" he says....so this goes back and farther for a min or less...by now the other guy comes over....which I find out later is the owner....lol....he says...." Im not going to show u cause then if he showed everyone we wouldnt need his shop"......this started a 15 to 20min argument with him and in....THE MAN EVEN PASSED ME AS I WAS LEAVING HIS SHOP!!!! He was such a good business owner we agreed out side the hole time in front of his shop....meaning times I pointed this out and his response was " oh while there not shopping here right now"....."I have layers, doctor and meaning people smarting then you"....will never go again and will tell everyone I know about this guy!!!!

Terrible customer service, disgusting attitudes and abhorrent customer treatment!! This place is where incompetence meets arrogance! I went in to get a new set of brake pads for my bike. The jerk behind the counter was more interested in whatever was on his phone than making a sale. When I asked the sales associate if he had the product that I was looking for, he just chuckled and said "yeah rite". When I asked him to show me a certain bike he groaned in exasperation and promptly walked me to the door. Once at the door he asked if I had the cash on hand to purchase the bike, I said no. To which he replied " if you cant afford it then Im not wasting my time by taking it down off the rack, just so you can look at it & not buy." As I was walking out of the store I told him that what he just said was very inappropriate, to which he replied "you think so, huh? Well too damn bad!" and closed the door behind me. This is the worst bike shop in all of Orange County!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague!! If you need a bike store just drive another 1.5 miles east down Edinger, there is an awesome bike shop across from Bella Terra in back of the Taco Bell parking lot. I cant remember remember what that place is called but they are always very helpful and attitude-free :)

Use to work here. The quality of work surpasses every other shop out there that I have found. If you are looking for advise and not willing to listen to what they are trying to tell you, dont go ask. If you go in there knowing what you want, they will help you if they have the parts. If you are an impatient person and want full undivided attention about something minor, you probably wont get it because of all of the other customers bicycles that actually had brought there bicycle/s in a before you came in. If you go in being polite and patient, they are more likely to try to get to your stuff asap. They can multitask, regardless of what women think, and help you as they are working. If you are looking for a new bike and know what you are gonna do with the bike, let them know and they will give you options that they have for test rides and what not. Overall they can provide excellent customer service by giving you there opinions and their quality of work.

I just needed a presta to schrader adapter which I bought for $2.15 (most shops have them for $1.00) then I needed to use the compressor to attempt to see if a tubeless conversion wheel I am building would hold air or if I need more rim tape so the tire will seat properly with the conversion strip. The guy said he couldnt just let me use it but he could do it though he would have to charge me even though I had just made a purchase. He seemed awfully put out and more interested in money than in helping a cyclist. when I explained what I was doing and dared to ask if he knew about tubeless, he pompously said "I know all about it" as if offended. He reluctantly made an attempt to put air in and when it wouldnt work he just said "there is something fundamentally wrong" without offering any solution (which I didnt actually need). I have worked in many bike shops and was looking for a good, helpful one locally. I wont be going back.

I also experienced the brush off from the gentlemen behind the counter. I received one word answers to my questions, for example it went something like this: me: (looking around) I have seen a particular bike (fill in the blank) here before... him: yes... me: I dont see it now... him: sold it me: do you expect to be getting one in soon? him: make them here me: will you be MAKING one soon....? him: (calls to his buddy) hey are we...?? etc, etc you get the drift Fortunately (or unfortunately) I didnt give up and was able to order my bike. I left have the total purchase amount as a down payment and was told it would be done the next day. He said he would call me as soon as its done. It is now the 4th day since, so I decided to call. Apparently YES it is finished, and NO I wasnt ever going to receive it a phone call. Whatever. Im going to go get my bike, and go elsewhere next time.

The Owner is a douchebag and I dont see how hes still in business with that nasty attitude he has. Extremely unhelpful and terrible customer service. We went in to get an inner tube for a front jogger stroller wheel. The Owner wanted to charge me $12 to put it in!! It took us 5 minutes to pop the old one out and pop the new one in I couldnt believe that rubbish and his Son was so afraid of him he was afraid to help us women but he offered anyway and his Dad was just yelling at him and his brother I felt so bad for the teenage boys. Spend your money elsewhere. Theres a really nice bicycle shop on Gothard called Streetrider and another one on Edinger called Surf City Cyclery and they are super nice guys at both shops. I would have made the extra 5 minute drive to either shop had I know what a creep the Owner is at this shop. 0 Stars!!!

Poor customer service. Went in to see about getting the front forks/handle bars tightened on my kids bike, as they had unusual tightening mechanism that I couldnt figure out even after trying to take apart. I was the only customer in store at the time and and the pompous owner guy blows me off as I try to show him and he advises I needed an allen wrench and walks by to help some elderly couple who had just come in. I was more than willing to leave my bike and expected to pay for his services, maybe $20 - whatever, but he wasnt interested in helping me. I advised him I wouldnt be back again. Of course he was wrong about the allen wrench and i got it resolved elsewhere with much friendlier, helpful staff. Recommend Prozac.
