Costco is the go to place especially since there is no Winco (best supermarket ever!) in the bay area! This Costco is one of the most busiest Ive ever been and rightfully so! This is smack dab in the middle of residential neighborhoods of hayward and union city. Just try to come here on off peaks like on the weekdays and it should be be not too busy! This is just like any other Costco youd expect, large and in charge! Anyways youll have samples, electronics, clothes, supplies, seasonal stuff, picture printing and many other goods. Two things I would recommend is that you get gas from here because it is insanely cheap compared to others! and the second thing is that look at the coupon books because theres specials that you can find! Even with the price increase, the $60 membership is well worth the price of admission!

Worst costumer service I have gone before to just get something from thecafeteria and they wouldnt ask me for my member ship they say it was okay. And today I went really quick I drove about 5 miles to pick up some food and I had forgotten my membership and they wouldnt let me in cuz I didnt I had my membership with me, and I told them how come last time you guys let me in with out one? The guys didnt know what to say and only say to me "oh its a new rule" his name was Carlos and he is outside checking everyones shopping cart! Bad costumer service fromhim someone should do something about it!

Since opening this new Costco has met every single shopping need I have. Ive been able to purchase things for the home, things for my general health and welfare as well as really nice stuff at great prices. Gone are the days of shopping at the Costco in da city or crossing the San Mateo to pick up stuff. Bernadette and her team are really making life in the east bay more convenient. Did I mention their gas prices are better than any other vendor in 15 miles in any direction?

$1.50 all beef hotdog w drink... Sure why not! All you can eat snacks from random vendors... Cool! 5 dolla make you holla rotisserie chicken... Awesome!!! Wait 20 mins to save 3 dollas in gas money... Why not! Need 10 lbs of toilet paper and 50 lb cans of macho nacho cheese? Than this place is for you! Meet all these majestic ethnicities that park their carts in the middle of the aisle... Absolutely the freedom of the american dream! Nelson approved!!!

The amount of disrespect and insult I witnessed from this establishment has crossed the line. They had the audacity to SET UP HALLOWEEN STUFF IN AUGUST, but not to set up some samples to feed starving children, one of those children being myself. Is this what my membership gets me? I was promised free spotty cheese, trail mix, and cranberry juice. It will take a lot of out of me to step one foot into Costco again. Sincerely, Starving Child

Good gas prices, the line was not too long this afternoon. Picked up a Roasted Chicken, you cannot beat the price $4.99. A very plump little Chickie. Ill make Spanish Rice and a Vegi, great easy Dinner. The left over Chicken makes yummy Chicken Salad. The Carcas is good for Chicken Soup. There were a lot of Checkers today so the lines were manageable.

While all Costco stores are generally the same (some cater to local needs) they dont all work the same. Some are over crowded or have too little parking but this location is generally better on both counts. Costco is always crowded but this one is less crowded than the nearest other Costco so wins first choice between the two.

Last Monday night, 5/20/12, at 9:15pm, I went to Costco gas station, they closed most of the lines and only leave two lines open. After I fill up the gas, it is 9:37pm. This is the first time I saw Costco provide such poor service. I hope the other locations dont follow the Hayward Costco, because it is bad service.

To start off m, no one moves out of the way when going through the aisles, second , dont have as many things to buy, last, an employee did not let me pay because I was not on the account of my brothers costco account , so I had to leave this Costco with nothing . Last time I will ever come to this wack costco!

If you are a trucker delivering goods to this Coscto, prepare to wait a LONG time! The receiving managers are rude, unorganized and simply just have bad attitudes all the way around. I spoke with a Costco driver while waiting, even he says he cringes every time he sees this store # on his delivery paperwork!

Typical Costco. The line during the time we went was very short and quick, so maybe go around 7:30-8pm. Pretty clean around the food areas, but the food court was pretty messy. There was food on the floor, and the onion dispenser wasnt working. Had to crank it like I was reeling in a fish haha.

I really like Costco and their food, but its always really crowded. If only they could make it bigger and add more cash registers to allow for the flow off more people. Costco gas is cheaper than anywhere else for the most part, always go here. Again to much people here all the time as well.

Not a bad Costco. The checkers all seem nice and quick. The pharmacy is helpful. My one complaint is the people hovering around the food samples. The shopping carts arent that easy to maneuver if you have a lot of items, and you have to weave your way around people milling in the aisles

I love Costco but, being almost 80 years old, I like to shop early in the morning when traffic and stores are not too busy. Too bad Costco cant have "Senior Hour" between 9 and 10 am so elders can shop without fear of suffering a fall from being bumped into by younger shoppers.

Its the best and largest store for everything and occasionally they have free samples of food. Everything is great except that the lines are long to check out and you need a membership to get in the store and they need to check your recipe to see if you dont have any stolen stuff.

Out at the gas station, they are always wiping it clean and friendly. Inside for as busy as it, this Costco is well maintained and the staff is friendly. The only downside are all of the slobs that come here to shop, leave messes, have rude attitudes, bad kids, and no manners.

do not go here on weekends. it is really packed. everything is cool here, great people, friendly people that work here. cheap pizza. like $10. pharmacy is a short wait. they shift the isles around allot so remember. to pace yourself ask for help if you need it.

I love Costco! This place has a lot of parking. The cashiers are quick, they keep the lines moving. I think the food area could do with a bit of cleaning but Everytime I go it is packed so it is understandable that things might be a little messy.

This is one of the less busier Costcos. Its newer so its cleaner and there is plenty of parking. The workers are very friendly. The gas lines get very busy even though they have above average amount of pumps. You get the usual Costco benefits.
