My wife and I have a home for missionaries(basically people who either are instructors or medical services)... It was a pleasure to receive assistance from a tall young man(forgive me for forgetting his name)..to assist my professor friend into getting a new pair of shoes before he is to go to China... Plenty of parking in the back. I always come here when the wells fargo lot next door is packed. That being said newish Big 5 store, products are neat and in place a fine selection of cool camping gear, cheap shoes, footballs etc... dont forget to grab a flyer in the very front for the best deals. Customer service can be hit or miss.

I walked over a mile to get here before they closed at 9. When i got here it was 8:53pm. I just need to get a poket knife for work tomorrow. When i walked in the manager told me i had to leave because they were already closed even though the sign said open and the doors were unlocked. Talk about poor customer service.

Ive had a 50/50 experience here. Item I purchased was in packaging but when I arrived home and took it out the battery protecter had already been removed and they said in the store it had never been open. Some staff was friendly other staff was sort of stand offish.

This Big 5 I loved. The woman (I dont remember her name now)was SUPER polite, informative, and helpful. She made useful suggestions. I didnt buy anything because they didnt have the size I I needed but I would definitely shop here again.

The store manager Gary is very knowledgeable, especially about firearms. He went out of his way to make things right for me. The quality of customer service i got from him is unheard of these days.
