Staff was not friendly. Lots of nice merchandise. Dont expect a greeting and expect charges for using a credit card. Owners are cheap if I have to pay their cost of doing business with their merchant account. I own a global biz. My customers never pay my merchant fees. I feel a hello or welcome to our store or maybe an offer to help you find something would be good. There is so much stuff in the store you may not find some things on your own. I walked out because of the lack of customer service. Also sign was on building saying going out of business for months. When I went in they were restocking the shelves full. Isnt that kind of scammy to say that to maybe generate sales when its not true. Then they lied to me about it and said it never happened. Im not an idiot. Just too lazy to do proper punctuation on cell phone. End result....prices are a bit high on some items, most are new not used, people in store are not friendly, lots of good products though. Been a favorite since the 1970s. Not sure now.

Excellent surplus store - as good or better than most others in the bay area. They stock a fair amount of knives (Benchmade, KaBar, Spyderco, Victorinox, and a few others), have a good amount of true surplus, lots of low cost camping gear, some limited Airsoft equipment, a good selection of clothes/patches/pins and lots more. When it comes to surplus places, these guys are doing a really good job.

If you buy something here, make sure you want it – most items in the store are actually non-refundable. There are two signs highlighting the return policy on the counter that contradict themselves, so read carefully. The gentlemen behind the counter was also fairly rude but gave me store credit when I argued and pointed out the flawed return policy. I wont be going back to this store.

Great products, prices and stock items; friendly atmosphere with helpful staff in general; convenient location, parking. They dont have a useful website, but I was told that they are working on it and will soon launch their online store which is going to make it very convenient for customers to utilize for both information and online shopping.

Great place. Owner is very nice. They have a huge selection for all your hiking and camping needs. I always find what Im looking for and usually at the best prices too. Large selection of military memorabilia new and old. Awesome place to just walk around too. I have baught several tazors from them as well all were around $20.00.

Well organized with a friendly, helpful staff. Ive been putting together an outdoor survival kit for the snow, and I found practically everything I needed on the shelves. If I had one quibble it would be the sparse multi-tool selection, but otherwise I left very satisfied.

Its a surplus store! Lot of old, fair bit of new. Knives and sharps up by the counter, camping and first aid scattered about and most of the rest of the store was clothing. If you know what youre looking for, its a great place to check out and compare prices!

Best place bar none to get simple camping supplies. Has an amazingly large selection of the "basics" and "traditional" camping supplies and scouting supplies at a good price. Great place to get a cast iron pan, cooking gear, inexpensive hammock, etc.

An OK place to get ideas of things you may need for camping however prices are marked pretty high. Found stevens creek surplus in san jose to have a larger more affordable selection.

Great place for an assortment of surplus gear like tents, boots, and camping supplies. Layout is a bit confusing but staff are willing to help you find what youre looking for.

Surplus stores seem to be vanishing these days, glad I found one! Everyone says the service is bad, but they wont help you if you sit around waiting to be noticed.

Had the things I was looking for. Not swanky or hooty-tooty. Its a surplus store, with useful things. A business run with low overhead to keep the costs down.

Sturdy camping and outdoor items at reasonable prices. No fancy displays but browsing inevitably leads to discovering a must have item.

Not sure what you would expect for a military surplus store. But this place has a lot of interesting things.

A disappointing level of stock for a surplus store. Great place to buy cheap winter clothes however.
