I parked in the parking lot thats shared with the tattoo shop for a 10:00 appt. While I was waiting for my appointment at the tattoo parlor, I went into the thrift store and spent money. As soon as I return to my car, a lady came out after me screaming and hollering that I cannot park there. (Im not from Grass Valley and had no idea I couldnt park there- it seems logical to me) Anyway shes being extremely rude and vicious shouting and waving her hands in the air like a wild animal with absolutely no self control. I proceeded to tell her politely that no problem I would move my car and that I was also just in there spending money but this lady was not prepared to interact in any other way then overacting to get her point across. No social skills. Real low-life stuff. I hate them and I will never ever shop in there again.

I went in to adopt a kitten and the employees were very rude. They didnt help us at all and treated us like we were stupid as well as giving us dirty looks anytime we would pet, let alone even look at a cat. I found one I really loved and wanted to adopt immediately but the one of the ladys working there refused to let me adopt because other people had put in applications a week ago. They also had only negative things to say about the animals. This was the worst experience I have had with any pet adoption agency and I do not recommend adopting through them.

We stopped here to support the animals and leave a donation. BUT...as I walked up to the desk to write a check, I heard anti-American, anti-Obama hate speech coming from the back room. When we challenged the lies we were hearing, we were shouted down by the main birther - who told us even more lies. Sorry. You lost a nice donation, and customers. I know its hard to get volunteers, but really. Does racist hate speech represent your community?

Best organized and cleanest thrift store I have ever been in. Lots of room to see what you are looking for. Everything is clean and well marked. If I am looking for something specific I always go here first because I dont have to sort through tons of junk to find it.

One of my favorite thrift stores. Small, clean, and reasonably priced goods. A separate book store gets thumbs up as well. Plus you can stop by to pet the cats and kittens waiting to be adopted!
