Xproject187 says, Thats Bull-shite ! Theres not a darn thing wrong with the Plaza Parkway Walmart! Least ways nothing thatll be remedied by going to another Walmart in the Modesto area. Why ? Because it isnt any dirtier than any of thee other Walmarts around here & Ive been to them all, including Target! Case in point: I flew back east/south to De Queens, Ark to visit My Granny. It was like stepping back in time(50s) to the Pre-Civil Rights Era complete with a Confederate Flag/ Museum & Southern Guide. I went to the local Walmart & being of hispanic/white descent, I was catching flack,I wont elaborate, just remember, "if Your of color Youll have a time at the Walmart in De Queens Ark" (no doubt about that). I was never more great-full to be back in Cal, as the day I touched-down at SFO & for a moment I felt like I should kiss the ground, it was humbling, to say the least. In the northern states one opinion is as inportant as another & "personally I like the Walmart on Plaza Parkway better than thee others here in Modesto" & definitely better than the one in Arkansas. Even if it gets a lil down-n-dirty, but from My past experience Its always clean & whats even better yet is the fact that the workers are normal people,with families wholl treat you like an American should be treated. Rather than some High School punk that Target hired because he looks good. Target forgot to notice that he obviously missed out on more than one hard spankiing from his Dad! & so perpetuates the proprietary disrespect thats Target-Specific & that Ive personally come to expect from Target employees. PS: No I dont work there, nor do I know anyone who does.

Do not buy there warranty it is a fraud , they received 11 dollars from me , I thought I could take it back to store but you cant and they dont tell you . Went to use warranty and they said its through another company. And the manager at the customer service was rude. She said I was being disrespectful but she didnt know I had just came from the other walmart were they didnt have the item. To come there to be treated in a manner that made me upset. She also didnt know that trying to get the mattress fixed for my mother in law that staying with us tomorrow for my father in law that is 75 getting back surgery. My mother in law 70 but that not there problem right. But this warranty thing is probably going take walmart down. I say class action lawsuit . So maybe being rude to people because you just work there and you didnt sell it. There is a way to handle someone that already upset, that diffently not getting more upset by saying maybe I could get my 4 dollars back. If they know why I needed it done or what I did already to get it done. But instead they screamed merry Christmas as I walked out. So if they look at this my father in law is a veteran and he gets to sleep on a mattress that has a leak for Christmas so they can get food stamps that he paid and I do. The employees didnt need to be rude . I went there on12-5-15 about 3 oclock and wont forget it. What happened to customer service. Walmart happened to it.

on 03/27/2016 which was EASTER SUNDAY when me my husband and baby walked inside of walmart with our son in his stroller and his diapers and other stuff was under his stroller and we went to buy some stuff and when we payed for the stuff we bought with the recept one of the store clerks decited to look under my stroller and asked us what about the items under the stroller we told her no we bought that stuff at a different store and then when we got to the exit door the security guard said he wanted to see the recept and then he asked about the items under the stroller and we told him the same thing we told the store clerk and he still wanted to see the items to scan it and see and he did and said ok god bless no sorry for accusing us and why didnt he say anything when i walked in the store it was under the stroller when i walked in the store and right next to him this was disrespectful in front of my son not cool I think that will be my last time shopping at that Walmart

I know walmarts arent great to start with, but this one is the worst of the worst. Never enough room in the aisles, unhelpful staff, and hard to find items. This place is dirty, and you just feel bad being here. The peek moment of my frustration with this store was when I was trying to buy a simple extension cord. Somehow the price tag was not on the item. The checker told me to go find the item on the other side of the store and take a picture of the tag so I could input item code. I did what he asked, but the system would not take the number no matter how many times I tried. I asked him if he could just put in the item at that price, since I have a picture of the tag, but he said there was nothing he could do. I really needed that item, but ended up leaving the store without it, because I was not able to purchase it. Seeing as the whole point of the stores existence is to sell items, this is pretty pathetic. I definitely am never coming back to this walmart ever again.

One star is even pushing it, like seriously this store has no orginization what so ever. They have lettuce and somewhat of "produce" next to Shampoos and womens products, you cant find hardly anything and theres never anyone around to ask and when you do ask they have no idea either. Horrible. I called in just to see if they had a battery for my car, i was on hold for so long i set my phone down and forgot and like 2 hours later i hear a lady answer and ask what i needed from the Pharmacy?? I go out of my way to NOT go to this walmart even though this one is like 3 blocks from my house adn the other is like 6 miles away. I always drive to the other Walmart.

A SCARY place to be late for late night shopping. Most professionl people would prefer not to waste an hour finding some item to save a dollar of two. The bad language and poor grammar of the people rating the store very high says something about who the store really appeals to. This is a free country with great diversity and I know that is a strenth of this community. There are many stores in Modesto that are cleaner with better service and I notice many other people agree with my opinion that this store poor to fair on their best days. Have a great day where ever you decide to shop. Blessings to all.

You get what you pay for.,,. This place is fine if you can find what you want, pay A good price and get in and out quickly. I do not recommend if you can not find something and you will find their staff probably cannot find then either. Do not go there late at night. Midnight lowers the competition for service but look around and see the scary people you are SHARING THE PLACE WITH. My car was broken into once while I shopped there to save 5 dollars on an item. The their did 200 dollars of damage on my care to seal three dollars of stuff from my car.
