Ive lived in this neighborhood for 20 years. When Albertsons was on strike I started shopping here a little. Produce isnt always the best and often it may look better than it taste. Also now there is more store label items and higher prices. For a small store it isnt bad if you are just picking up a few things and the line is not tooooo long and it is close for you. The SB on Valley View has more to offer but same prices. Bought mayonnaise there yesterday with a coupon and on sale and saw it today at Food 4 Less cheaper, without a coupon.] Also paid 1.89 per lb. at SB for italian tomatoes and they were 2lbs. for under a dollar at Food 4 Less. OUCH!

Located on the corner of Chapman and Magnolia, this Stater Bros. Is not one of the larger grocery stores in the area. Parking lot is usually congested with heavy traffic on Chapman Ave. A very popular store with the locals and is usually busy. Normally well stocked with a good deli dept. Wait times can be a little long because there are never more than 3 checkout stands open at the same time. Employees are very friendly and will offer to help you to your car with your groceries. I have never had a problem here. Use caution in the parking lot and when leaving on Chapman Ave.

I love shopping at Starerbros. I have since I was little, Im so close to just stopping since Ive been coming here. I just bought applesauce from here that was 3 months old! I didnt notice till I got home. Every time I would like too buy fruit such as raspberries or blackberries I find mold on most of them. Its so sad. Check out always takes so long when they only have two lanes open. I hope out gets better.

The store is great and the customer service is ok it could be better. Some employees are very nice in particular an employee named diana she is always very attentive and always asks if I need help out and shes just very nice and makes putting in my groceries very easy. Overall great store.

Store is very old and the selection is something to be desired but very pleased with vegetables and meet quality. Visiting from Las Vegas, the meat for some reason taste so much better than Im used to from local grocers in Las Vegas. Customer service is very good too.

Renee, the butch looking tomboy lady with short colorful hair, has a terrible attitude. Shes consistently rude and condescending. I wont be coming back to this Stater Bros. (And I buy a lot of food from them; I work for a catering company.)

Good market that always has the basic staples and goods you expect from a major non-union anchor with the corresponding prices that are typical of the pricier chains. Ample parking and a friendly staff that are helpful and competent.
