So Tired

I DONT RECOMMEND GOING TO THE THUAN PHAT SUPERMARKET ON BROOKHURST IN GARDEN GROVE, CA. UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE POOP. Today, I went to the Thuan Phat Supermarket and bought $90.00 worth of groceries. I asked the cashier if the amount I bought qualifies me for a free calendar or anything. The cashier said that I qualify for a calendar and pointed me to the liquor area to get a free calendar. I went to the cashier at the liquor center and she pointed and informed me to go to the lady (who has short dyed hair) standing across from the security guard at the entrance/exit. I recently learned that she is an assistant to the stores manager (an employee). I went to short hair lady to ask her about a free calendar. She looked at my cart (and glared at me with a sideways glance) very rudely and said something under her breath that was very difficult to hear and then she walked off without looking at me. I think she said at I did not buy enough things to qualify for a free calendar. I looked at the cashier who rang me up. The cashier looked at the short hair lady and had to say very loudly (because the short hair lady ignored her, too) that I bought $90.00 worth of groceries. I recently learned that a customer needs to spend $70.00 to qualify for a free calendar. I spent $20.00 over. The short hair lady finally took my receipt, looked at it very carefully, and gave me a wall calendar. I kindly thanked her and asked if she has any other calendars that I may choose from (like the daily calendars with the screws). She literally dogged me, squinted her eyes, and had to made a very great effort to not curse me out. She said to me, "this is the only calendar we have. If you dont want it, give it back!" I was taken aback/off guard because I was not rude at all (in any way to her).

Nasty customer service at alcohol/lotto counter on morning of May 26. Asked for four powerball tickets and was given one ticket with four numbers...older female counter person turned rude when had to redo the transaction. Extremely unprofessional, perhaps management is that way as well since this sort of customer service seems to be common practice. Be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Very "cheap" supermarket. They want to charge you 5 cents for each small plastic bag. Never go back to this cheap market. There are several supermarkets in this area for you to shop around without paying this 5- cent bags. Highly recommend NOT to shop at this market.

Best asian supermarket in OC!!!! The seafood is always the freshest and the most plentiful. The aisle are spacious and the selection is abundant. What more can you ask for? Well if they would stay open later than 9 pm it would help a lot lol.

Large selection of choices, cleaner than most supermarket in the area. Their shopping cart is rusted and filthy. Wonder when the last time it was clean. Maybe last rain in OC?

Lots of parking, easy to get in and out. Go there for the best fresh Vietnamese pickle veggie in town. Standard normal supermarket offerings otherwise.
