You will experience delicious sights and smells the moment you walk in.To the left is a bakery with an array of goodies from which to choose. Each Wednesday there is a wine and beer tasting event hosted by the departments manager Brian, who is very engaging and informative, is very knowledgeable and descriptive of the spirits and can answer any question regarding their product. It is a nice event hosted 4-6pm. Its a good way to meet your neighbors and it only costs a dollar which is in turn donated to local charities. This week The Evangel Home will receive the proceeds. The Market sends coupons out slated for the following two months and the specials are unbeatable. There is always someone on hand to assist with any questions or help. This is definitely not your average grocery store. I love the atmosphere and always leave with a smile on my face.

I visited this store September 25th - 28th 2015. This is by far one of the best grocery stores I have ever been in. All of the staff members were extremely polite, and one from the deli went out of his way to prepare a salad which I had the day previous and was not available when I arrived at the store the next day. This store needs a Facebook page. As a side note I would like to recommend the Bread Pudding***** Chocolate Brownie***** Asparagus Salad***** Eggplant Parmesan***** Chicken Pasta***** I wish this store was in Canada and I lived near it, but for now I will for sure make it a "Must Stop" as I pass through Fresno again. :-) Thank you for making my Fresno trip one of my best experiences.

They have a huge rat and roach problem in the deli. This place is disgusting. Im not sure why they still put bread on the table behind the sandwich bar. When rats constantly get into them. And they will still serve the bread!! They dont keep track of the food in the cold case. So there will be food in there for 3 weeks and the clerks will still serve it. No wonder people have came back and complain about getting sick. The workers there are gross too they never wash their hands and work in dirty areas. These are facts health department needs to be call ASAP. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AND FOR YOUR FAMILY SAFETY YOU SHOULDNT EITHER!!

I really like the bakery. I was looking for a good place to get meat. I thought they would have a larger selection of organic meat but most of their meat is from Harris Ranch. I just moved from Santa Cruz recently and have not found a store that compares to any one in Santa cruz yet, other than Whole Foods. I do like this store its nice and clean and they are very friendly. They have fresh seafood also.

The Market continues to fill the niche of its predecessors in the location of a full service supermarket with a better-than-average produce department and one of the best meat counters in town. Add to that a fantastic fish counter, a deli, and a prepared foods counter. It costs a little more, but its worth every penny.

The Market is the grocery gem of Fresno. Still a locally owned grocer in a sea of everything else. The produce, the meat, the bakery are such great sections of the store. They continue to innovate and search for new products for their customers. Shop small business, shop local!

If youre looking for fancy specialty food items, this is the place for you. It is however pretty pricey. They carry imported cheeses and deli meats. You can buy duck, rabbit, turkducken, frozen frog, venison, etc.

Great grocery store. I prefer it because produce, meat and many other items are of the highest quality and very fresh. Youll pay a bit more, but it is well worth it. Checkout is fast and easy
