This is my "go-to" hardware store. If I need nuts, bolts, tree-trimming supplies, or need to find a general tool or adhesive for woodworking, I go here. Fair warning, they are NOT Walmart. You wont get things cheap, but you WILL get a great selection. Each section of the store seems to have someone who is an expert in that area. If youve got questions, ask the expert. In my experience, the paint department isnt so expert on the concrete sealers they were selling. But the expert in the fasteners, nuts & bolts area really knows his stuff! The guys in the tool area also know their stuff, and have helped me quite a bit.

A couple of years ago I reroofed my house. Bought tons of stuff here, had to return some of it. Very difficult, clerks grumpy. When I asked the clerk "Should I tell a manager it is much better at OSH or National (Pinedale)?" she said no, it wouldnt matter. So I stopped going there as much. Recently I gave them another try. Got kicked out for bringing in my bicycle. Again, angry clerk, not apologetic. Having been in with it several times before, I asked if this was a new policy. "Signs on the window" she snapped. I see no need to go there anymore.

Awesome service.. I had a project in mind for a custom mount for my fish finder on my kayak and I talked to Elmer about the idea and showed him a couple pics that I had of my yak and he found everything I needed. Also as Elmer and I went around to the different sections of the store every employee was extremely helpful. All of them know their stuff. And what was really cool is it felt like they were taking on the project with me, making sure everything was going to be a perfect fit and long lasting material. This place rocks, Support you local businesses!

Have been to the store once in the last couple of years. I used to go to the store a lot, but as time goes the place seems to be going downhill. I love garden department, but not a big fan of the indoor grow products. The worst treatment I got over there was at the paint department. I walked by the counter three times and was ignored by the clerk behind the counter. He rather talk with his co-workers. This will be my final time there.

An 86,000-square-foot "full-service, full-line" hardware store. This Valley landmark (since 1876!) is worth supporting for its idiosyncratic products and old-fashioned customer-service feel. Mr. and Mrs. Valley Notebook love browsing the long, unpretentious aisles and garden section. Added plus? Don Pepes Taqueria is just a short walk across the hot asphalt parking lot. Almost a complete itinerary for a Sunday afternoon.

I called fresno ag earlier today do to an issue I had. I spoke to someone, and was immediately transferred to tools department. Bob answered the phone, and I explained my situation. I was astounded by the great customer service he had. I figured he would give me basic simple info. but he went out of his way and solved my problem I highly recommended him, and Fresno ag. 5 stars from me!

Best hardware store in Fresno. The staff not only know their inventory, but are knowledgeable about the department they work in -- staff with experience. Youll find far more obscure parts than Home Depot or Lowes (Bulk Vendors). The staff are friendly and professional. Whenever I need help on a project, Fresno Ag is where I go.

I took my mother here on a Saturday afternoon. It is tucked away and separate from the rest of Woodward Park which really allows you to appreciate the garden. The garden is well laid out and with each season, allows the garden to change slightly. If you appreciate landscape and garden design, this is a nice retreat.

When all else fails, Fresno Ag is often the most likely to have what you need to complete a job or project. Friendly, helpful staff, great customer service, reasonable prices. This is my wifes favorite store.
