Natural Foods Co-Op used to be the only health food store (HFS)around here which was (and still is) way over priced plus a 42 mile round trip from here which adds to the cost. Now weve got several in Elk Grove but none are better than Sprouts. Now dont let anyone tell you that you can eat cheaply at health food stores if youre savvy. Thats only true if all you eat is lettuce! But the reality is we eat all kinds of foods and yes its costly at HFS. but theres a reason for that. Organic vegetables are much more expensive to grow and all meat products come from animals that are range free. There is a lot more care and expense in organic healthy foods. However at Sprouts its not too bad price wise and their sales are fantastic. Sprouts offers a variety of produce, vitamins, natural skin care products, deli and bakery foods too. Their staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have a very large variety of vitamins, skin care products, dairy and even frozen foods to choose from. The dairy products are very reasonably priced in fact their milk varieties like Coconut, Soy and Almond are lower than Safeways, Raleys and even Winco!! The store is clean and well organized. They run month long speicals which is great for those who like to stock up. All in all Sprouts is great HFS with reasonable prices, great sales and wide choices in brands. Thanks Sprouts!.

I have been going to the Land Park Sprouts even before it was Sprouts, It was probably the best Farmers Market in Sacramento, until Sprouts took it over. It has steadily declined in the quality of its produce and increase in prices. I dont mind paying a little more for "quality" produce, but I have serious issues in paying even lower prices for low quality. They have fewer and fewer "good" sale prices on meats and fish and Ive found mold in their berries on more than one occasion. Im now being forced to go back to shopping at Bel Air and Nugget, which has caused my monthly grocery bill to go back up accordingly. I will never recommend Sprouts to anyone!!! They have become one of the worst grocery stores in Sacramento.

This place used to be one of my favorite stores when it was Henrys but now that Sprouts took over the prices all went up. For about a month after the switch I kept going in hoping things would change but 3 months after the changed I stopped all together. The main things I purchased were Meats and Veg there. Veg quality used to be great but now not so much and the meat prices are now not too hot either. Nugget has my easily won me back. The only thing that I notice that didnt change were the nice people working there, Id give them 5 stars all the way, just not too much else there. I will keep checking in hoping for the day I see prices that were more like Henrys...I miss Henrys :/

Sprouts is my favorite grocery store. They have lots of healthy food options and cater to people with special diets ex. gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian. They have lots of organic and non GMO food items. Sprouts has excellent customer service. They have reasonable and cheap prices. I advise that anyone who believes that it is too expensive to purchase healthy foods to shop at Sprouts. Tips: Visit the store on double ad Wednesdays. On Wednesdays, customers can get the deals from the incoming and outgoing sales ad. Also, utilize the coupons from their app and monthly deals booklet. These coupons will save you money.

Friendliest staff, fresh produce, best rotisserie chicken!- 3 months ago Well today I have an update...the one in Laguna has changed. The management have become almost rude. When I called to talk to the management about 2 highly over salted Rotisserie chicken I bought, I got passed around and when I finally talked to Kelly in the meat department she blamed corporate! Dont buy the bar-b-que chicken in Laguna! It is so salty that you cannot eat it. The dog did not want it either.

First of all I asked for organic pineapple they were out on the shelf, Guy brings out non-organic pineapple with a roll of yellow organic letter tape, there was no label on the box or the pineapple itself label the claims that its organic, everything match non-organic pineapple, OK I take the pineapple he gave me, take it to the register and the cashier drops the thing on the ground, this place is shady and bad experience

Would give 5 stars, but they frequently run out of add items. Store is small. Lines usually long. Store usually crowded, and shopping carts not refilled near the door. But great selection of healthy items. Meat department has a great selection of housemade sausages [chicken and pork]. Nice selection of hard to find meats/cuts. You can buy in bulk. Great selection of wine, organic and vegan products.

Wide variety of items. Deli, coffee bar, and meat counter. Lots of specialty items like gluten-free, low-fat, low-carb. Often excellent prices on produce. However, often the produce does not look very good. Tomatoes that do not look red, cucumbers and zucchini that are scarred and soft. When the produce is good its great. When its not or when its sold out its a wasted trip

Sprouts is one of my every other day trips! Prices are VERY good and they actually let you try anything before u buy it! I bought a drink (kombucha) and opened it at the register, took a drink while waiting for my friend to pay, i made a face because it was not what i was expecting. The cashier said go get another flavor if u dont like it!! I was stoked!

Its my favorite farmers market produce store, they have the best fruits and vegetables selection at the lowest prices in town, they have everything you need and they treat you like family. I highly recommend this place. So you know if they run out of any item on sale, theyll give you a raincheck with no limit and no expiration. I love them...

I moved here to elk grove 2 years ago. My family only lives blocks away. they never shopped here, because they said it was too expensive. they have been amazed at the items I have brought home and the price. there are a variety of price quality items at Sprouts, you can buy the most expensive or their are other options, but all good quality.

I love this place. It has fresh food, nutritional items, and helpful and friendly customer service. They have sushi, fresh sandwiches, juice bar, salad and olive bar and bulk foods. I love the sales on produce. I go out of my way to shop there. Also whatever is on sale one week will be available the next week until Wednesday.

Clean and plenty of fresh and organic grocery. I like the meat and fish counter. Cool thing this place is that for salmon fillet, you can request to remove the tail portion (min 6 inch) from the whole fillet. Also, you can order sandwich here for lunch or dinner.

The vegetables and fruit are quality and the cost is modest. The store offers a huge variety of organic packaged and frozen foods. It is always busy, so it is best to come early. People are pleasant and I have had a lot of fun conversations here.

Sprouts is the average persons Whole foods. I love getting good healthy food at an appropriate price which Sprouts provides.. I think part of todays obesity. Its not the same Sprouts selection you find in Colorado, but its close. My go to store.
