I placed an order on Monday, January 26th. All items I ordered were marked as "in-stock". I was hoping to have the beer in time for the Super Bowl. CBKs shipping policy states: "Although we are usually able to ship your order on the same day, occasionally, demand for limited supplies will deplete our stock of a particular item. If this is the case, the item will be placed on backorder and we will notify you via e-mail". I checked FedExs ground delivery time. It was supposed to take three days. Thursday the 29th rolls around; no beer. Friday comes; still no beer. I was already very disappointed that it didnt come in time for the big game. Sunday, February 1st rolls around, and I receive an email from CBK: "We just want to let you know that we are currently processing your order and it will be shipped soon". At this point, Im pretty miffed. I sent them an email asking what is taking so long. On Feb 2nd, they respond by telling me that two of the five different beers I ordered are not in stock. I responded by telling them that their site claimed that every beer I ordered was in-stock (a major part of the reason I ordered from there) and that I would receive an email if the website was wrong, which I never did. I get no apology for that and no reason why I wasnt notified that these beers werent in-stock. Later that afternoon, they respond by telling me that one of my backordered beers has arrived, but they dont know when the other one will arrive. They tell me that they can upgrade me to a better bottle. So I say, "How bout a bottle of _____?". He tells me that beer isnt currently in stock either (despite the website saying it was). I say, "How bout _____?". He says, "You got it", and tells me hes throwing something else in for the delay. Two days later, February the 4th, my order actually ships. Not only did I not have it in time for last weekend, I wont have it this weekend either. Short story long, I placed an order for a few different beers that were all supposedly in-stock and they didnt ship until 9 days later. Until I initiated a conversation about the late shipment, I never received an email from CBK stating that some of the product I ordered was out of stock which is a requirement of their shipping policy. It will be a full 14 calendar days before I receive my order and would have been much longer than that if I hadnt contacted them. Once the dialogue started, they did respond very quickly; thats the reason for the second star. If the "something else small" that was included for the delay turns out to be worth it, Ill add another star for attempting to make the situation right.

They advertise free shipping on both Google and prominently at the top of their website. This was very appealing to me, because there are no good shops near me and shipping beer is usually rather expensive. Prices are not great, but free shipping and no sales tax makes up for this. I spent about 90 minutes going through their stock and selected 33 beers for a total of $470. Get to checkout, and cheapest shipping option is $90!!! WTF happened to free shipping?!? Called them up and they say that the free shipping is only for their overpriced gift boxes. No where on their "Shipping Information" page could I find that info. That is intentionally deceptive marketing. I probably would still have bought a bunch of beer if I didnt feel like they were trying to be tricky schmucks with their marketing. Thanks for wasting my time.

I am quite unhapoy with the fact that i ordered on the 21st of september for a birthday on the 27th of september and when i called on the 25th to check on the progress and ask if it could be expidited... which they offered... it st ill saying that it will not be here until october. That is ridiculous and i am extremely dissapointed. Especially since i called and left a message before the second call that was completly ignored and never returned. I would gladly have paid extra to have it shipped faster and now my husbands birthday present will be 4 days late.

Online Ordering Experience: Pros: Great selection Decent prices Acceptable shipping costs Wonderful packaging - Very safe Cons: SLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW Did I mention slow? A full business week to start putting my order together before shipping, another week in transit... Unprofessional communication methods - Give me a call or send me an email, dont text message me please. Some stuff out of stock - likely due to slow shipping... Overall with all of this in mind, I will not be a repeat customer.

Amazing beer selection, their not just a liquor store, no. They are a craft beer store carrying beers from various California micro breweries. Its never a quick stop at this place due to the selection and the deals they have. They also make sure to listen to their customers and they do their best to get the stuff you want. Definitely the place to go if you want to taste various kinds of beers

Amazing selection of craft beer. If you are looking for some great beer they have every single type of beer from IPAs to awesome barrel aged hard to find beers. To top it off they have great service if you have any questions they are very helpful in whatever you might need.
