This is an awesome ice cream spot. They have vegan and non-vegan organic ice creams that are safe for your family. The ice cream is only $3.50 for a regular scoop, that tastes so rich you wont need more than just that. There are way more than just five flavors. Always two for vegans and 6-8 others, some days there are ten choices total. This is an amazing concept, no toppings or fancy dipped cones, because it is all organic and good for you. When you are done with your ice cream from Scoops you dont feel like you should be rolled down the block, you feel healthy and well treated to this delicious snack because it is actually ice cream that is healthy. If you are looking for a fun tourist destination or just a place to hang out with your friends on a warm day, this is the place to go. They open at 12 noon every day! Yum!!

The best ice cream around, bar none. Dont know what Jenna lou is talking about when she wrote "youll be out about $6" unless you order a triple scoop which would be insane considering the ice cream is made with the the highest milk-fat content available. A totally satisfying scoop costs around $3. And in response to Dans review, I have no idea why all organic is "kind of stupid", unless of course you like pesticides in your food, which would actually be kind of stupid. I just wish they had cookies and cream more often, it should be a staple. And I hope they come up with some more interesting flavors, i.e. salted caramel... One of the only establishments in Humboldt with a truly modern aesthetic sensibility, very refreshing and heartening to see.

Just took my 7 year old cousin there and he love-love-loved it. the Kids scoop was $2.10 and he got the choice of a fresh-handmade waffle cone or waffle bowl, no difference in price. I got the single scoop which is actually the perfect size for once person, and it was $3.15. Every time I come in they have different flavors so I always choose something I havent had before. Everything is Organic and they always have a vegan option! Bon Boniers IS just a few blocks away, but there is truly no comparison to taste. I will continue to go back again and again.

I loved all the flavors! It is rich because of the high fat content but dont pass it up because of some silly diet!! The shop is quaint and clean. The ice cream is cheap and it comes in a ceramic bowl, waffle cone or waffle bowl for the same price. We found it better to split your one large single scoop into two little scoops. Some of the unusual flavors can be a bit much in larger quantities (ie: honey/lavender). Support the little man and go see these girls! Amazing!!

This place offered a refreshing refuge from the city heat on the day of our visit. The place has a cool (temperature and look) atmosphere to it as well as a variety of unique flavors. Having never had Earl Grey Ice Cream, I had to try it. It was just what I expected. I appreciated that they also offered milk-free ice creams.

Stumbled onto this place while looking for some dessert while on vacation. Theyve got great ice cream; old favorites and some new different flavors. Also very kid friendly and fun inside. Owner is very friendly and customer service is amazing. Sadly not enough places like this anymore.

Best icecream ever! My daughter had Vanilla Honey Lavendar. I had Chocolate Orange and a friend had Cardaman. We are counting down the days until fall 2016 when my daughter relocates to Humboldt State University so we can revisit the Arcata Scoop. BTW - they make their own cones!

LOVE this place. Their ice cream is top notch. Atmosphere and service are wonderful - an added bonus here in the Boldt. A friend visiting from Portland, OR, was over the moon for the coffee ice cream. She said none of the small ice creameries in PDX come close.

When we visit Arcata 2 or 3 times a year we always stop here. Last time in April the single scoop (not childs) was a lot less than before. Seems to be getting smaller every time we visit. The price was high. Probably will not go back

I will drive 20 min from Eureka when I want ice cream. I really love the flavors with flower essence, especially rose. The orange chocolate is to die for. This place is a treasure. Oooo, love the waffle cone bowls too!

I love Scoop so much! Locally-sourced, organic, fresh ingredients with delicious vegan options... I cant even. The service is always great, and the shop is adorable. Come here to get ice cream whenever you can!
