I submitted an order online through the store website. I selected an arrangement of flowers and selected a date for delivery from the dropdown calendar that I was presented with. A few hours later, I was contacted and told the delivery date could not be honored and was it ok if they delivered the flowers today. I was ok with that and agreed. Then, I was told the item that I had selected and purchased was not available. I was assured that a better arrangement would be put together for my trouble and that it would be valued $10 more than the bouquet I purchased. I agreed to that as well. I was then informed that an additional $1.50 in taxes was necessary and after I refused that, the guy said no problem. I still have no idea what the additional taxes were for. At any rate, a bouquet valued at probably $20-$30 LESS than what I ordered was sent. The recipient sent me a picture of the arrangement and there were a total of 11 flowers in a PLASTIC vase plus a large quantity of babys breath type of filler. I counted more than 25 flowers on the picture of the original bouquet that was out of stock. It isnt as much about the $ as the terrible substitution and "designers choice" decisions. Clearly, this designer is not qualified to not use the standard product as displayed. When I called the store to complain, I was given the runaround for several hours by someone named "Annie" and I finally reached my wits end and canceled the charges through American Express. Gladly, this sham of a florist will not receive payment for the crappy bouquet. But sadly, while the gesture of sending flowers was appreciated, I am sorry to say that my mother did not get what she deserved for Mothers Day. Avoid this vendor when possible!

Just cant believe why people dont even check what/where they post their reviews. I am a long time customer of south shore florist and always order flowers for my wife on special occasions. I have known the owner for years. After I read a review for their florist, I thought they must have changed their ownership. However, this was not true after I dropped by the shop last weekend. It was just some people didnt even check where they received their product, and "Annie" was nice enough to spend hours tried to help him. Poor girl. Well, I guess someone just had a bad day....

Ive used them 3 times and have received compliments each time. They have been very nice on the phone. I usually go to the website and pick something before I call. I also call them directly
